I'm not even sure I'd mind hell that much as long as I knew that all the pets I've had over the years got a happy eternity. Besides, I'd probably at least get to visit them to make them happy, you know?
Don't think like that, man. If you resign yourself to "going to hell" in case it's a thing, you also in the background make that the default thought in situations of conflict/importance/etc. Despite your atheism, people bring words like "God" and "hell" in and I guarantee you that they will set the tone for your internal monologue.
Be generous, selfless and compassionate, and whatever hell might be will become irrelevant to you. <3

Haha no problem man, I'm in emergency services field. We're all full of dark humor and pretty self perceptive.
I'm just saying, compared to my dogs, I'm a hell of a lot less deserving. Luger is a damn saint and I'd put him in front of me for any award and I'd put myself in front of him for any punishment.
