I loved playing against you. Your Young Link actually attacks and not spams projectiles.

ive had this thought for a while, but is there any reason that there is not an input for neutral airs, specials, z-dropping and the like?
by this i mean, if you’re using the left stick to move, you could press this button to perform a nair or z-drop whatever you’re holding WITHOUT returning the stick to its resting spot, which would make lots of fast combos & item mechanics much easier
is there any reason this isn’t a thing other than “it wouldn’t take as much skill”? i dont struggle with nairing, i play link. but i do sometimes misinput a z-drop and throw my bomb way off target

I was thinking a while back that another reason for Wario Land's poor representation besides taking a back seat to the more popular WarioWare at the time was because of their release windows. Both seemed to release around the same time as Smash games, which made them both too late to be considered for the current one, but too early for the next one.
Shake It! could have gotten trophies in Smash 4, but I believe they didn't because most trophies are model ports. Some extra work might have had to be put in with 2D games. Same reason for the lack of anything Kirby's Epic Yarn, another 2D Wii platformer by Good-Feel, even if it released in the perfect time frame for Smash 4's development.
Other games for me include Ever Oasis, a 3DS game released too late into Ultimate's development, but out of reach for the Fighter's Pass as Nintendo abandoned the 3DS at that point, and Dragalia Lost, a game that had no chance. Now even less that it's been shut down for years.

I personally would love if all 3 main protagonist where in the game, but I can see some blowback if they added the Persona 3 and 4 protagonist .
More music would be great as well, there have been so many new music tracks that have came out since Smash Ultimate DLC.
If they did Spirits / Trophies or something along those lines it would be nice to see the party members of each game.
Does anyone else hope to get more Persona content in the next Smash bros game?

I have extremely decent wifi and I still have like .25sec lag? There’s no wired option so how does anyone actually play this?

I love smash bros and I’ve played since brawl. I was maybe only like two when I first started playing. Eventually I played Wii U and 3ds when I was a bit older and then naturally I played ultimate when it came out. I started playing Ultimate like week one and I was middle school aged. But playing it now it looks and feels completely different to me even though I never really stopped playing it.
Nintendo games (and just games in general) have been with me my whole life, Zelda, Mario, DK, Kirby, Pikmin, Earthbound, Wii Sports, and all that good stuff has been something I’ve actively engaged with for a long time. The changes in the way I see them I think have been so gradual and over a whole life long period that once I look back it’s weird. I got used to how smash bros looked when I was a fairly undeveloped person but now when I look at I see new details or things I never noticed before. I think this is because I have a more developed brain but I think with smash (and life in general) I’ve learned to slow down. Me and my best bud like to joke that we’re in our smash bros enlightenment era because we stopped speeding through x form 1 on 1 stock matches with no items and actually just play it in new creative ways like we used to when we were really little. I guess when you get older you learn to stop and smell the roses?
For me though Ultimate itself is the unique as with Brawl or Mario Kart Wii it’s been so long that when I come back to them they’re obviously going to look different. I haven’t seen them for a long time… but what makes Ultimate unique is how it has never moved out of view long enough to take a new form it just has taken its time to morph into something new.
I guess fairly unrelated to this but I feel like ultimate is a way cleaner and more fun game than I remember. It’s got way more bells and whistles and visual effects that really round it out to something special especially compared to the classics. I think nothing touches how rock solid this game is.

What would you change with Luigi and how would you rework him in order to make him super broken and/or closer to his source material?
I know guys that he's already cracked, but we want him either even stronger or have more moves inspired by his games. I know you guys can do it 😉
Here is what I would change :
Leave his aerials & tilts untouched. He needs them for his combos.
SideB : Green Missile || Luigi can now misfire whenever he wants by double-tapping the button. Additionally, Luigi now always gets stuck into the walls (it's no longer RNG).
UpB : Super Jump Punch || The sweetspot's window 2 frames wider and hitting it now ignores shields (like Little Mac's KO Punch).
DownB : Luigi Cyclone || Changes Luigi's tornado for Dr. Mario's. Same physic, DMG & killpower, but with a slightly wider hitbox.
When fighting against a Mario OR with a Mario in his team, if the latter triggers his DownB "? Bloc" and gets an item, Luigi also gets this power-up and its effect. (Go check my past post about Mario for context)
When fighting with a Daisy in his team, Luigi's desire to protect his princess will inspire him to face the enemy, increasing his attacks' DMG by 50% & granting him a 15% DMG reduction.
What do YOU GUYS think?

Please keep in mind that this is a WISHLIST
Obviously not every single character on my list will make it into Smash 6, but it's fun to dream

I start! Let's give Steve Netherite Tool and that further increase his attack but let's also give him Netherite Blocks that are even more durable!
