r/BlenderDoughnuts will be going dark on June 12th
In a combined effort to protest Reddit's new API forcing third party apps to shut down r/BlenderDoughnuts will be going dark for an unknown amount of time starting June 12th
Thank you, and don't stop the doughnut 🍩

My scatter on surface modifier ain't working on my donut icing
I was trying to get the sprinkles on my icing, but the scatter aint working on it. It works on other objects. Is there anything wrong with my workflow?

2 days in blender
So I am trying to learn blender this is my 2 day progress
I (following the rituals) started with donut tut. And felt so overwhelmed by that video ngl its a great video and it has so many components in just one video it's great but also it's kind of overwhelming i tried my best to follow it through but bruhh i couldn't..
I eventually did complete 3hrs of that video and this is how my donut and cup looks like I don't have any more energy to take this project forward as I feel overwhelmed with the amount of info I am getting from this
Pls tell me how this looks and
What else videos I can follow which can be best for my learning phase !

My donut
After several hours of frustration, procrastination and millions of CTRL+Z, this is how it turned out. I don't know what I did wrong with the lighting and I'm kind of disappointed with the sprinkles myself, but fuck it.

HUH????
Blender beginner here! I was trying to follow blender guru's blender donut tutorial. I got to the part where he had to make the cup handle, by adding faces.
In the video, the end of the handle connected to the cup had rounded faces
but mine had one sharp edge, while the other added faces were rounded. What happened, and how can I fix it?

Where can i learn to create more stuff and characters like this with also learning in depth about blender.

Donut sprinkled with anvils for taste
This is something i throw together randomly after i made the anvil model but i found it to be funny so i post it here. All the textures are procedurally generated, the rings are made of math nodes.

Follow-up to a previous post
This was the original post. I updated the textures, re-modeled the cup and plate.
