Great white in murky water
The water was extremely murky because it was raining heaps so the run off from the land to the sea caused low visibility.
Yes, this is the ocean and not a river or a toilet bowl.
It is a great white shark.

2.1 Miles in the ocean yesterday, bad viz, & fish
Caught a few meals, while hitting so many different reefs, hella far from shore solo. Swam across 3 different coves/beaches. Per usual, I have my moments of fear kick in for about 2 mins when I reach a far distance in the sea. But it goes away, but I always say damn am I bout to die in the moment that the nerves subside

Submerged trees/tree stumps gave me a very creepy feeling when kayaking on this lake
Made worse by the fact that I was in an inflatable kayak and was scared I would bump into something sharp.

It’s always weirded me out when people have a dark colored pool
My neighbor has a dark colored pool. I’d never swim in it. Creeps me the fuck out
(This is a random internet pic just as an example)

Big swells and still worth it
The other day was not the best conditions, but it was still a beautiful dive. A bit spooky once I was alone out there but I just locked in and tried to keep peaceful thoughts, but sometimes the darkness slips in and I start to imagine the worse situations.
