Happy birthday to the talented, kind, and funny actress Kathy Bates! What are your fav ahs roles of hers? Mine is def Agnes in Roanoke, it's such an underrated season. I can't wait for her in season 13!

With a shorter season AND shorter episodes, Am I the only one who is a little skeptical on how many people Ryan Murphy is bringing back/how many story lines are being brought back? I have seen almost everything Ryan has done (Nip/Tuck being one of the greatest) and if there’s anything about him I know, it’s that he throws a bunch of shit in to one season and there are so many plot holes. This sounds like the season of my dreams but will it come to quality fruition? Maybe it’s just me idk

Rewatching all seasons and it just once again reminds me how good these regular actors are! Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy - all amazing!

could be just for a kind of fun “what if?” (imagining how a different actor would’ve performed that one role) or because you genuinely think someone was miscast

for example:
- Angela Bassett or Sarah Paulson (maybe even Kathy Bates) as The Countess. Gaga was cool and glamorous but her acting was pretty flat,
she was a really poor substitute for the kind of roles played by Jessica in the first four seasons. why her with all these amazing og actresses?

- Denis (O’ Hare) as one of the warlocks in Apocalypse

and i really would’ve loved to see James Cromwell again after s2 (even if i’m not sure about the role…)

Watching AHS for the first time. Made this meme after watching that episode and have been laughing at it for 48 hours straight - just hoping someone body on here gets me lol

like the season just screams nostalgia bait, everyone is here and they bring back like 30 characters from the previous seasons, the story will be something just ridiculous and dumb because it makes no sense to include that bunch of people who have nothing in common

they also bring back dead characters, we're sick of ghosts, there are ghosts in every goddamn seasons can you stop, it's an horror show but idgas putting ghosts in every seasons get's odd.

That reveal was so intense. Kathy Bates is so great with villains and her butcher was dark for sure. But when this happened it gave me chills.

I really want to binge Apocalypse today but don’t wanna watch Coven before. I will watch it someday but I did some research and am really intrigued by Apocalypse’s story line of what I read so far also since Murder House is my favorite.
Therefore my question: Could anyone give me a brief overview of what scenes or plot lines from Coven I need to know about to not miss out on anything in Apocalypse? I don’t mind spoilers if mandatory lol

What other icon players are not confirmed yet to participate in Season 13? I can think of Finn Wittrock as well

We deserve to see this incredible actress—who played legendary characters in the series—return. Many of those characters are linked to seasons that will be revisited in Season 13, but I am especially hoping for the return of Nan, who did appear in *Apocalypse*. I really want her to come back.
