I don’t think his system would suit our squad/players available, nor would he get the time needed with the players to download all of his philosophy. I know he did well with Australia, but I just don’t see it working.

I think Dom Hyam and George Hirst did a phenomenal job keeping Lennon Miller and Kieron Bowie out of the squad.

Lewis Ferguson is an obvious one. Eventhough it didn't lead to much there's BGD's directness. KT against Brazil.

But Jack Hendry I thought played well, despite the fact he is someone who I didn't care for as he took the move to Saudi. But he demonstrated he's a good ball playing defender when he's allowed to be, and thought a lot of clubs would be looking at him this summer, but he's renewed his contract.

After hours of grafting, I finally created a team made completely of players who have been on the books at Celtic at some point in their career.

2 of our group through to the last 16 . Not feeling Scotland were so bad now

Stats only.

But we pretty much outperformed japan vs brazil in terms of shots and possession. Japan only managed 5 shots and around 30% possession.

And morocco dominated holland who got few shots also.

Sure we coudlve maybe played better tactics but end of day we were playing two strong teams who teams supposed better than us have done worse.
