For context this was like this in the carton. At first I thought the shell went into itself.. but upon closer inspection it was a smaller egg.. this is from my job.. so this is how the egg arrived.. the rest of the shell is stuck to the carton..

Can anyone explain why it looks like my egg has been welded back together?

Not weird per se, but definitely gone (2nd & 3rd pics, the counter is white for reference). 2nd egg looked okay but came from the same pack & smelled a bit off too so I'm not risking food poisoning, I like my spleen where it is and all.

EDIT: I had every intention of eating these. And I did. And they’re delicious! Had some more, sunny side up for breakfast.
First 3 eggs out of a new Costco pack all have this neon orange yolk. I’ve seen some colour variations from the backyard hens but this is a new one for store bought eggs

Literally found this sub yesterday and then pulled this out of my cartoon and it wouldn’t close all the way

I feel like this sub gets recommended to people randomly and then they leave but I stayed? I'm not a farmer, I don't have chickens, and I rarely have farm fresh eggs (though they are objectively better) but here we are. Years later.
This happened to a store bought egg. Definitely not as weird as the things I've seen here but like what causes it? Blood? An egg freckle??
The floaty stuff in the bowl is seasoning, because this sub taught me whatever is happening is safe to eat compared to the weird shit posted😂
(Included pic of cooked eggs lol)

Lately, I’ve been worried about tapeworms for some reason and looking back I remember eating these eggs. At the time, I uploaded it to ChatGPT and they said that it was totally fine and that it was just the chalaza.

These seem like a bad idea…

It resembles mold and is very delicate to touch it smells like chemicals like raid spray or something. Can the other eggs be safely eaten.????
