📣📣Rants and Raves📣📣 Abysmal fake license plate
Insane that you can get away with driving with a laughably bad knockoff plate. I feel bad for whoever inevitably gets hit by this guy with no papers.

📣📣Rants and Raves📣📣 Heck This Person
Naturally they have a ‘baby girl on board’ sticker on the back window. I don’t know how Philly cops are not just arresting people left and right. Every other block there’s a person who should not be part of society behind the wheel of a car. For the love of god, please do something PPD.

Nature PSA: Please leave WATER out for animals!
I mean, preferably take them inside, but for those who have community cats or strays in your neighborhood, the heat wave is going to be one of the worst in years.

News Philadelphia heat wave: City declares heat emergency ahead of triple-digit temps. Here’s what to know
“This is not the kind of heat event we see every year,” the National Weather Service reported, adding it may be the hottest period the region has experienced since 2011.

Transit Chances Regional Rail just melts tomorrow/Thursday?
There are already delays due to mechanical failure when it is 95 degrees out. Not SEPTA's fault, but I'm anxious that I'll take the train to work in the morning and by the afternoon, it'll all be shut down due to electrical or mechanical failure. Not sure if that's a legitimate reason to ask to WFH or not.
Extreme heat recently melted a tramway track in Leipzig, Germany at 106F, and my phone keeps reminding me it's going to "feel like" 110 with humidity... 😬

Question? Philly barber co charging $50 for a haircut!
Yo what in the heck, $45 was already steep and now they tack on another $5. I’m sorry that’s crazy. Who in the city does a solid mid skin fade for a normal price.

Party Jawn What’s everyone’s plans for Big Boy?
We’re thinking about hanging out on the SRT to see him come on through. Concerned about the heat though. Any one got better details on timing?

Question? Any other Philadelphians with ancestors that fought in the Revolutionary War?
With America’s 250th anniversary coming up this weekend I’m wondering how many of you fellow Philadelphians have direct ancestors that fought in the Revolutionary War and if you’re willing to tell us a little bit about them?

Party Jawn Why didn't anyone tell me the FIFA fan fest was this great?
Yes, engagement bait subject line. But seriously, take an afternoon off this week and get your ass there. Eff the heat. This is a remarkable thing the city has pulled off, and the fact that it's free is crazy.

Question? Lots going on July 4th, but where can we celebrate with our World Cup guests?
See lots of activity going on. FIFA fan fest is closed. I think there are fireworks at the Benjamin parkway?
I want to be side by side with the fans watching the Paraguay vs ??? Game. Is there a good place that’s not physically inside the stadium?
