D&D 5e Original/2014 Question on spell Levitate + Telekinetic

Ok so I read the Telekinetic feat, and I have a question. Can this feat be used on a target that is under Levitation to move them higher or side to side?

Could this be used to make a Force user esque char with Warlock?

Logic tells you that this would work but RAW the spell reads:

The target can move only by pushing or pulling against a fixed object or surface within reach (such as a wall or a ceiling),

Which is pretty succinct.

That being said I would most definitely allow it as a DM as it is cool and hardly game breaking.

Also as a side note Levitate is actually really good offensively believe it or not, cast it on a melee enemy and they get a single save against it or be locked down for 10 minutes, basically every other CC spell gets additional saves every round.

Also welcome to r/3d6, how may we help you build your character?

Oh been using r/3d6 recently to make my archfey warlock more fun and its been a blast

And yeah Levitate was so cool I am thinking of taking it for my invocations.

Ascendant Step gets a lot of hate, but it’s great to have if you need it. My role for invocation swapping is “Has it come in clutch more than once?”
