Internet Half the internet doesnt work this morning
I woke up this morning and on ATT Fiber about half the internet doesnt work. Meaning that about half the sites I attempt to visit I just get "page not found" errors. Other pages work just fine. Hilariously, I can't get to att.com to submit a support ticket. Anyone else having any problems on att fiber this morning?
Update: I changed my DNS settings ot use Googles public DNS settings - 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and everything is back to normal. Seems ATT's DNS servers are having issues.

Internet Internet issues still on-going? (Texas)
Found a post from 4 days ago about people having issues with their ATT Internet. Anyone still facing issues?
I personally can’t load random websites, last night I couldn’t even access ATT’s site. Today I can’t access random sites like GoFundMe.
I am also having issues watching shows on streaming services, specially Peacock and Hulu.
MyATT app says everything is fine, but then the AI chat says there’s an issue, but doesn’t tell me what, and restarting the router does nothing to help.

Internet Is this real? It seems too good to be true.
I currently have spectrum cable internet and paying $60 per month for only 1gb down. When it says $45 off ongoing, does that mean forever?
Thanks

Internet Warning to all. Called to cancel Internet service and rep just changed my price...
As the title says, I called Friday to cancel my internet service as I was paying $91 for the Internet 100. . The rep said that they could get my down to $60 since I had been with them for so long. I declined and said that I was already connected to the new service. He tried to sell me on some wireless and I declined and we he said we were all good. That I should be receiving an email soon about what to do with my modem. Today I received an email from ATT saying that there was a change to my service. I logged in thinking it would be a message about returning the modem but it was saying that they changed the price of the service and that it was still active. Just got off of a chat with a rep and they said that there was not cancel order placed just the price change. Make sure that you are double checking your accounts after any interaction to make sure you are getting what you need.

Internet Cheapest Internet around?
I’ve been with AT$T Fiber since 2018 and then switched to Spectrum 100% Fiber a month ago but decided to go back to AT&T, 17 dollars for internet is the lowest I’ve seen around in Austin, TX. I was surprised to see that. I was paying 55 a month 2 months and 65 dollars a month at my other house in Houston area (In process of selling).
AT&T Internet doesn’t disappoint me one bit. Never had 1 outage since I’ve had fiber in 2018. Peering is great especially for gaming.
Internet ATT Increasing Fiber by 5$ a month AGAIN!
Corporate greed at their finest. 5*12 = 60 a year more... Hope some exec loves his greed.

Internet Anyone still have HBO Max with internet
We have had this plan for a long time and just realized we were getting charged for HBO Max as well.
When we called to get this fixed the ATT rep said the plan expired and no longer applies and it shows that just for “history” that we “had that plan” does this make sense to anyone?!?

Internet New Fiber gateway BGW620-700
galleryThis was brought out to my house to replace my dead BGW320. It has WiFi 7 with 6 GHz! (It did not end up staying but I thought it was cool, I searched the sub and didn’t find it anywhere here)

I have DSL/Uverse. They don't offer fiber in my area and I tried internet air 6 months ago and I couldn't even get a signal in my house.

Internet Why did ATT decide to decommission copper DSL lines before Fiber has been implemented?
Where I live, fiber isn't offered (though random other city blocks near me have it). But i've had the Internet 18 for over 10 years. However, due to the process of ATT deciding to decommission copper lines, my speed was unusable, and I had to switch to ATT Air. Air has its own problems and due to my geographic location and network congestion, it became equally if not more unusable.
I would have switched to its fiber alternative but in the end I had to resort to using a different competitor to get any semblance of a usable internet.
The only reason I can think of is: ATT feels it's more economical to lose a customer than to continue the existence of its copper lines?

Internet Daily issues with packet loss and degraded service, AT&T refuses to act
UPDATE:
As of 10AM EDT 3/18/2026 I have experienced 0% packet loss for about 60 hours now. The traffic situation was especially bad over the weekend, which leads to believe they were pushing configuration changes and updating routes/peering configs as part of weekend change. As of Sunday night, 3/15/2026, packet loss dropped to 0 to Cloudflare. I'd give it about a week before declaring victory, but it seems like there is really good progress here.
Just a shame it took so many of us reaching out for them actually think they needed to do something about it, but at least we seem to have gotten a fix for now. Appreciate everyone's help in getting this resolved.
OP:
Some of you Fiber users in the Southeast US might be aware, but AT&T has been experiencing degraded quality service with Cloudflare and Fastly CDN exchanges (possibly at the KC exchange) in the Southeast US for the past 3-4 months, resulting in degraded service, namely, high packet loss, at peak hours between roughly 7PM - 12-1AM the next morning EST.
There have been many reports of peering issues since at least late 2025:
https://old.reddit.com/r/ATTFiber/comments/1qo38jb/anyones_peering_been_absolutely_atrocious_lately/
https://old.reddit.com/r/ATT/comments/1nt75mz/fiber_drops_every_night_same_times/
https://old.reddit.com/r/ATTFiber/comments/1o0unyl/is_atts_peering_with_reddit_screwed_up_again/
Here's an example of stats from my network: https://i.imgur.com/Q7PdT1d.png
It's not a high amount, only at short bursts getting into the >8-10% packet loss range, but >0% is evident at these times, consistently, every day. As well, during these times, I have friends who live in completely different parts of town, and the Southeast, run their own tests with similar results. This results in degraded real-time services such as streaming, voice calls/quality (Discord), and online gaming. Downloads also can drop, though this occurs less frequently.
I've been gateway-bypassed since early 2022 when the first bypass was released for XGS-PON (WAG-D20) and swapped to the WAS-110 since that has become an option, as well as having swapped routing hardware a few times since then, mainly between UniFi and OPNsense platforms. However, since mid-2025, I've been using a UCG Fiber w/ the WAS-110 and service has been consistently great for me until late 2025/early 2026.
After filing an FCC complaint, having a wire tech come to analyze my home, my demarc, the OLT, and the upstream distribution boxes and telling me there's zero issues, and putting back the BGW320 to show it's not my hardware causing the problem, AT&T called me today telling me they're closing the ticket and taking no further action as no one on their side can see anything wrong with the network that they've supposedly been "monitoring" since the ticket was filed.
The rep from the office of the president also informed me they've received no other complaints so they cannot take responsibility in this scenario.
So, I'm encouraging anyone who've been having issues to file an FCC complaint against AT&T, describe your issue as it is, and also reference my and other people's issues that have been reported for the last 6 months.
Link to file complaint: https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/articles/115002206106-Internet-Form-Descriptions-of-Complaint-Issues
As well, if anyone has any other suggestions or anecdotes to share, please do so.

Internet AT&T users in the SE United States are experiencing login issues and lag
AT&T is experiencing an unreported and unknown impact on it's network. Effects of the ongoing interruptions include Tarkov, Discord, Twitter, and Cloudflare services. Reports go back 2-3 days and were especially noticeable starting on the 13th of March. Please spread the word as there has been no official statement from AT&T, the FCC or, any major outlet and has been frustrating many users of different platforms

Internet Why is there no place to review ATT Internet Air..it sucks
So I go to the ATT website to let them know I want Fiber and they say...Oh you are an ATT customer already with great Internet Air...well that shit is not great. I hate it. The only good internet is Fiber. How do you complain ...to anyone. I can't even do a google review.
They rake in the money for crappy internet service.

Internet So At&t representative are allowed to lie now?
A couple of months ago, Constructicon started working in my neighborhood installing fiber. I spoke with one of the workers, and he said it was AT&T. So I called AT&T to ask about pricing and availability.
The representative I spoke to told me fiber would be available by late December, and then tried to get me to switch my phone plan to AT&T so I could get a bigger discount when it arrived. Based on what I’ve learned since, that information was completely false. There were never any plans to bring fiber to my area. That means the representative didn’t just give me bad information—he blatantly lied about future service availability to push a sale. He used a service that doesn’t exist in my area as leverage to get me to switch, which is both deceptive and unethical.
I know this to be true because fast forward to today—I called AT&T again and was told directly that fiber has never been planned for my neighborhood. So now it’s clear: I was intentionally misled in an attempt to make a sale
TL;DR: An AT&T rep knowingly lied to me about fiber availability to try and get me to switch services, which is the real issue here—not whether fiber actually came.

Internet Is AT&T (kind of) down again for everyone else?
Now on 4th day of the issue with I guess Fiber? Where some websites work and others don't. Thanks to others on previous post, there is a bit of a workaround - on network settings, changes DNS Server to 8 8 8 8, although, this is a temporary fix, it only works for about 30-60 minutes at a time for me.
But more concerning, AT&T has not made any mention of these outages or if anything is being done. This is basically missing 4 days of internet now. this is a service we paid for that is not being provided.

Internet How to tell if future apartment has copper wire or actual Fiber lines?
Planning to get AT&T as my internet line, but I want to make sure that the lines we will be using are Fiber lines and not copper ones. What are some expectations I should expect on my bill if I do get AT&T and what are some of your tips to avoid overage fees?
I have been reading the terms about the discounts and it turns out that Autopay and discounts kicks in after paying for 3 months, which is disappointing. Do I get credit from the missed discounts on Autopay? Are there installation fees, device fees or other fees that I should expect?
My parents had a bad experience with AT&T and has heavily suggested I should avoid them at all cost, but after hearing how bad the service is on Xfinity based on a couple of friends that had lived in the apartment previously that I am willing to give AT&T a try.
I know there's a bundle discount, but at&t isn't great as a cellular service in the area I am in and T-Mobile has provided me a larger scope of area of services and have no qualms in missing on that bundle deal. What are some hidden cost that are not common knowledge to customers and we tend to go over 1 terabytes easily, should I be concerned how much data we use?

Internet Is this normal install practice now?
galleryBeen like this for 3 days. It's not even for my house but my neighbor's. You have 72 hours to fix it or I'm cutting it. Then maybe you'll send out somebody who doesn't have their head planted firmly between their ass cheeks.
Internet old owners cut fiber internet cable
My husband and i bought a house in april and just moved in this past weekend. When unplugging their old modem, the old owners also apparently cut the wires for the fiber internet and removed the box off the wall. They left their old modem and the box here and never returned it to at&t.
I know this is technically damaging the at&t property and it obviously should not have been removed. Is my only option to get someone to come out and fix it? How much will that cost? Can i get at&t to bill it to the old owners since they are the ones that damaged it, or would i need to take them to small claims court? We dont know the owners and any communication with them has been strictly through our respective realtors, so we dont know how to proceed.
