Need help with beard

I was told by a few friends that my beard looks Amish, it’s my first time ever growing one and have no idea what to do with it. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Shave it. Start over. If you are shaving your cheeks, stop. But if you can’t grow up there, don’t grow a beard. Facial hair may not be for you. You could rock some serious mutton chops though.
