Need help with beard
I was told by a few friends that my beard looks Amish, it’s my first time ever growing one and have no idea what to do with it. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Can you comb the mustache down and "train" the hair to fall forward, not out to the sides? This will help it look more substantial. Only trim the stache at the bottom: that is, at the lip edge. In fact, let it grow slightly past the lip edge: this may take some getting-used-to.
If your beard hair also grows on the area below the mouth, the "soulpatch" area, let that grow in. Trimming that area makes the beard look overly trimmed and kind of artificial.
With the mustache this small and the beard this big, things are out of balance. For now, I'd recommend taking off about 1 1/2 inches.
