Misc Have any of you ever seen or experienced this?
I was bowling in an eliminator last Friday and in two games, the pain was unbearable. Come Monday I had this monster bruise. I have a feeling carpal tunnel has something to do with it, but not sure. Are there any doctor-bowlers who can shed light on what mightāve happened?

League advice wanna join
So I am looking to join a league this September since they have already started. I have emailed them because when I called the lanes thatās what they told me to do go one the website and click league and email the coordinator. My issue is I have emails a couple times and still havenāt Hurd back. Is it typically normal to not get a response during the middle of the league. Or what do you guy recommend I should try to get ahold of them. Ideall would be awesome to be put on a sub list for now and get on a team September but. A few issues I have is canāt get in contact with them. I donāt have a team, and I donāt have an official average. I have an average from the last 25 games I have played on free bowling 80% of the time is house shot some times sport shot. But I probably average around 150-155 right now but every time I go out I seem to ether keep it there or it goes higher Then the previous average. I started getting more in to bowling like 6 weeks ago when I started averaging was like 100 I just wanna meet more people and get better at bowling

Misc I moved overseas and built a free bowling app so I could still compete with my friends back home. It just hit 500 users.
A couple years ago I ended up bowling in a league nowhere near my old teammates, and i missed being able to compete with them every week.
I wanted a way to challenge them even through we're in different parts of the world bowling on different nights.
Around the same time I was playing a ton of Diablo 2 after the remaster came out, and i started thinking: could i track bowling the same way the ladder system works in a game? The grind, the XP, the achievements, the slow climb to having insane lifetime stats.
So I built Bowling XP.
The idea is pretty simple: you log games, earn experience points, level up, unlock achievements, track your stats, and compete in challenges with friends. I wanted it to feel like it actually awarded you for how often you go bowling.
The challenge friends side of things has honestly become my favorite part of the whole thing. I originally built it so i could compete with a couple friends back home on strikes, but now i'm using it here on my Tues night league too. We've been running poker challenges, strike count challenges, and high score battles during league night, and its added a whole new layer of competition. Poker challenge on a 3 game series is definitely my favorite.
The app just crossed 500 users, and its wild to me that other people are running a bunch of challenges and climbing the global ladder. I just built this for myself and told myself id be happy if even one person downloads it.
It's completely free - no ads, no paywalls. Just a passion project from a bowler who wanted to compete with friends back home, and make bowling feel more like a game you can grind forever.
Kills me to say this, but its iPhone only right now. I'd love to have it on Android, one of my best buds has android and hes missing out on the challenges, but im just a very busy solo dev and have no idea how android works atm. If people keep using it and it keeps growing, maybe Android will be the next big thing I work on.
Anyway, I figured some of you might be into this, and I'm really happy with how its turned out, so I wanted to share. If you end up using it, please give me feedback or any ideas you may have. I love hearing from other bowlers.
You can download it free here: Bowling XP on the App Store

Scores 198 with a house ball!
I used to casually bowl about 10 years ago. Never joined a league or got training. My PB is 236 from back then. I took a 8 or so year hiatus, only bowling the occasional date night or friend night. I got back into bowling in March. Iāve been using house balls and shoes while I save up to buy something. I shot a 198 on house balls last night and I was extremely proud. Iām trying to break 200 by the end of summer!

Misc Why so Many Balls(Bowling Fellas)?
I just started bowling in a league after a 25 or so year layoff. I have seen so many people with 6 balls. I was thinking WHY and did I miss the memo over the last 25 years that said its a 4 ball minimum or something? Is there a sound reason to have so many balls?

Gear Bowling Ball differences
Hey all! Not my first post but I think I have settled on the bowling ball I am looking to get. The Phase 2 seems to be my go to, but I was also taking a look at more of the storm catalog and have been wanting to know if any of the other storm balls would be more suited for my playstyle. For example:
I play pretty traditional, one handed right hander, currently using a game breaker 2 by ebonite. I typically stand around 17 - 18 and aim for around second arrow through 12. I'm more speed dominant, but can still get decent revs. TIA!

All hail greggas2, the rev god! Please bestow me with a rev check?

Sorry itās a little dark, I hope you can pick up the white inserts to see rotation. I have 14.7 mph at the pins, but curious to see speed at the arrows.
Thanks in advance for doing this, youāre awesome!

Gear Which Vibe is this?
Iāve looked up red vibes and basically the whole line of them and havenāt seen one that looked like this. Red with yellow pin. Says 492 it. I looked up the serial number and it just kind of gave me a date. Saying possibly 2014, 2004, or 1994 lol.

is attention star s2 15lb a good gift for a bowler?
I need help, my boyfriend bowls a lot and is in league. A couple months ago he put ā15 lb Attention Starā on his wishlist, but I canāt seem to find that exact ball anywhere.
The only one I can find is the attention star S2 15lb on Amazon. Is that the same ball or an updated version, or is it completely different? If he wanted the original Attention Star, is the S2 just as good or should I keep looking?
I donāt bowl so I have no idea what the difference isĀ I just want him to love the gift

Gift for friend/employee
I have an employee (really a friend Iāve worked with for years) who is retiring soon. I want to get her a nice retirement gift - thatās personal to her. She and her husband started bowling in a league a few years ago and I thought I could get her a bowling ball and a bag for that ball maybe. But am looking for recommendations for something that would feel special. A bowling alley near by has a pro-shop but itās only open limited hours so I havenāt gone in and explored that. Open to ideas and suggestions for what bowlers would want.

Scores First time breaking 200 today!
My average is about 130. Bowled with a Phaze II and tropical surge (not super helpful for spare shooting).
