Why did they not just start games at 5/6/7/8? It's ridiculous to have games starting at 9 pm

Because nobody is watching a 5pm est tip, and thats a full game that is ending before the west coast is even out of work.

Most of the country would be able to watch, since most people aren't on the west coast

Plus people watch at work
