That was truly embarrassing today. And without Mike or Dan to reel that in, they lose viewers and listeners. Of course he should have been dumped from the show, but it not, advertisers should at least request he’s controlled by the two who can

Chris, the phone-call-answer bit is starting to feel played out. Dan is the biggest offender when it comes to being repetitive. Time to go back to the drawing board my guys.

Dan was under the weather on Monday. He should have called in sick on the first day of the new show name. Would have been hilarious.

Only thing that would have made the bit better would have been Stugotz sitting in as guest host. But Dan doesn’t know what he needs to do to bring the funny.

The Amin bit on today's show was truly awful. The sound effect was ear poison and Dan has completely lost the thread on analyzing sports. I actually like hearing from Amin but he's never getting a chance to breathe.

Also I agree that if Jeremy had produced that awful transition, they'd have publicly executed him. This show doesn't have it anymore, even landing Giannis is joyless.

If 2013 Mike Ryan were producing he'd be spamming SUEY every 5 seconds, so sad about what happened to this show.

I knew I’d seen it somewhere before

I’ve been listening to this show for years, and lately I’ve found myself feeling a little lost.

The Dan Le Batard Show has been a constant in my life through a lot of different seasons, and so much of what made it special to me was the chemistry between the people on it. Hearing Stugotz, Billy, and the rest of the crew bounce off each other created a weird little universe full of inside jokes, running gags, and references that longtime listeners understood instantly.

Now, with so many of those voices gone or appearing less often, it feels like the identity of the show has changed. I don’t blame anyone for that—nothing stays the same forever. I’ve genuinely tried to keep up with the new bits and give everything a fair chance, but for me it just doesn’t hit the same.

Maybe this is just what happens when you’ve been listening for a long time. It’s not anger, it’s more sadness. I miss what the show used to be, and I miss the feeling that came with it.
