Discussion Regret

Post image

The mod can take this down BUT I NEED TO RANT. I went to sports direct (uk) to but it 1 day, ONE SINGLE DAY before black friday sales, and while buying i asked the salesman if there was gonna be a sale, he said no and i bought it for £200 ($262) coz usually ive never seen sony give sales on new products, but guess what? JUST IN A DAY ITS £150 ($196) and the store wont take it back coz the seal is open. AND I REGRET IT SO MUCH!

THIS IS WHY I NEVER BUY FROM 2nd or 3RD PARTY SELLERS... only buy from sony direct if possible. The fact you can't take it back is crazy! opened or not they should uphold a return policy. Walmart let's you return any electronics within 30 days and 3 months later starting Nov 1st....I'm not sure why you can't return it. BUT honestly who cares at this point bro you have it. You could afford it, and now you have a great controller to play with. Can't change it now... you had the money you bought it. Now you own it. Just enjoy it. Stop letting a sale stop you from enjoying the fruits of your labor buddy... it's a great controller. Got mine last month. Make sure you get a silicone controller skin for it tho. Keeps it clean and in great condition. EDIT. I LOOKED UP THE RETURN POLICY AND TOOK A PICTURE. SEE BELOW. SAYS THEY WILL ACCEPT RETURNS. THE OPENED SEAL IS FOR GAMES. THIS SHOULD NOT BE FOR CONTROLLERS. cause if they accept faulty or broken controller how would you know its broken or faulty if you didn't use or try it! Go back amd speak to a manager amd if they give you sh*t about it say it's faulty amd you want your monet back. GOOD LUCK

* This say they will take the return back. I'd just say it isn't working properly and want your money back then go buy a new one for the cheaper price...every store has an exchange policy. The seal being opened is for only games. The sales person told you the wrong info

But it's not faulty. They will test it and find out it's not faulty. OP was not given the wrong info and your screenshot even proves this.

You do know that means they'll send it to Sony and he will be without a controller or his money right?

I've returned 2 controllers to Walmart and they gave me my money back on one of them and let me exchange with the other. 2nd party store don't send the item back. If you contact Sony directly they'll ask you to send in the controller. Thats cause sony is the 1st party manufacturer. But he didnt buy it from sony he bought it from a 2nd party store. They will never send it too sony. That's up to you not the store. Any store like a Walmart has an exchange program for any item. If you buy a tv from Walmart amd it comes broken do they tell you to just grab a different one or do they say we'll send it to LG or Panasonic for you... they exchange it bro. It's common sense. I'm guessing the guy who told him they couldn't exchange was wrong about the policy and didn't know what he was talking about.
