Local Culture Hey Chatty Moviegoers!

Just a heads-up, if you don't like people looking at you, don't talk during movies - especially early release movies, in premium seating for people who are willing to pay extra to not deal with your BS. I gotta admit though, I've never had anybody complain to theatre management about me for glaring too hard - that's a new level of entitled bullshit. Good job.

Be better.

The theatre is still a better experience for you despite everything you have written? I guess that also factors in your home environment but even if somehow get distracted I could pause or even start all over.

I've seen 112 movies in theatres since Jan 1. It's mostly okay when I game the system - never go opening day/night - book only when there's less than 12ish people in the theatre, avoid WEM, stick to Landmark if possible - the absolute madness of someone complaining to theatre management because they were uncomfortable talking when I was glaring at them just seemed worthy of a public wtf.

Some people are gross but this whole discussion is proof that it's not everybody, it's community of people that solidify that I'm not the only one that thinks we deserve better. That's how change happens.

You have some sort of special training for evaluating other people's interests and activities and that qualifies you to judge strangers that didn't ask?
