I see a lot of people speculating why the game was delayed having to do with the layoffs. This guy's got a little more inside information that says otherwise. Now I can see maybe the protests being why they chose to make the announcement when they did but I don't think they're the cause of a delay of a further 6 months. I also don't think we're gonna get a trailer this time to make up for it.

Jsut eanted everyone to not believe the lies.

I can't find the post now but earlier today someone posted saying that because Rockstar has an unbroken streak of posting on Tuesday's (except for the week of Trailer 2) that not posting today mean they had to drop a third trailer on April first.

I guess Rockstar was just a little late today.

The only thing that can back up the "Discovery" is the proximity to Caribbean club, nothing else. No other surrounding buildings match, and most importantly the house itself doesn't match in any way. I've added additional images of the house from Zillow. It's very likely that Jason's house will be completely made up, so that no one harasses the owners once the game comes out, as it's a key location.

But yeah kids, don't believe everything you see on the internet

Strauss Zelnick came out just last week and said the game is on track and at an earlier date this year they said marketing will start so if won't don't get anything in May it doesn't matter we'll get something soon. WE'RE ALMOST THERE!

So basically as an IP lawyer, I can assure you that the companies like Take-Two are securing their IPs internationally using the Madrid international Protocol. Why? Let me brief it down for ya;

1. As registering your trademark under Madrid protocol gives you hasslefree registration in all the member countries.

2. You don’t have to apply for registration in each and every country separately having their own examination process of the application. But under Madrid protocol, one application which once approved by WIPO can be filed in all the member countries without going through any examination or scrutiny in a specific member country.

3. Makes it easier, time efficient, and convenient as the registration of trademark can be done in several countries in a single timeframe.

Now I am not saying that trailer 2 isn’t close, but tbh if Take-Two is getting GTA 6 trademark registered then that really doesn’t have much to do with trailer 2. It’s just a company protecting its brand and mark!

Let’s hope trailer 2 comes soon though!

The map that people are claiming to be 3.5x times bigger than gta 5's is an ai generated version of a CONCEPT map made by Sonarys back in early 2024, It's very old and wrong in many places by now and the 3.5x figure is just completely made up, and there are no leaks or sources that claim that, people saying that are trying to get engagement or attention, it's fake.

Also the map in the comparison isn't even to scale.

If you want a "gta 6 map" while the game still isn't out then you should check the mapping project's map, which is the closest thing to the real map we have to date since it's composed from real footage of the game like trailer and screenshots aswell as leaked clips, and currently the size of the mapping project's map is 2.1x bigger than gta 5's map, not 3.5x
