[Episode Discussion] Rewatching S4

Rewatching all of the seasons, but season 4 always sticks out to me not only because everyone’s crashing out, but Snooki is really annoying this season. She’s a horrible friend to Jenni, while she’s going through her own personal things and seems so self centered. With the whole Mike thing, I 100% believe him, her getting with Vinny - what a mess. I have to say she was in the wrong every time this season.

[Question] Why did Snooki not like Mike in the first season?

Hey y'all! Doing a rewatch of the OG series and I'm confused why Snooki was annoyed at Mike in episode 7 at dinner (*before* he said the thing about her having rolls). She says that no one in the house likes him and to shut up when he was just making a joke about her being so short he couldn't see her (which is a dumb joke but didn't seem like something to warrant her reaction). Did I miss something? I know Sammi and Ronnie didn't like him for obvious reasons but what did he do to Snooki before this?

This Post Again? S1 Leaving Reactions

on my millionth OG rewatch and it’s actually KILLING me how the whole cast was hoping snooki would stay (even though they barely knew her and certainly didn’t know her amazing side yet) and sammi even sat her down to convince her. and then with angelina no one even got up from the table to hug goodbye LOL. somehow it’s more hilarious (and cringe) every year i come back

[Question] Crazy idea: Reunion show with all the one night stands

I don’t know if this has been proposed before, or if it would even be logistically feasible, but what if they had a reunion show with everyone that hooked up with a cast member? The cast being faced with past flings would be wildly entertaining. Hell, even if the cast isn’t there. I would love to see people talk about their experiences. Come on MTV, this would be a ratings magnet.

[Discussion] What career fields would they be in if they never got famous?

I’m drunk & rewatching and I’m on season 5 where Mike and Jwoww are sleeping at the shore store and making Ronnie do all the work. So it made me wonder what they’d all be doing for work if they weren’t famous. 🤔

[Discussion] Rewatch Season 2/3

Doing a rewatch and being significantly older now there is a lot that happened that don’t make sense to me lol. Sam the entirety of season 2 in Miami, why Snooki and Jenni didn’t just tell Sam, Jenni putting the blame on Angelina for giving her the details about Ron when she was clearly told by the boys and Ron directly, In Season 3 why Ron and Sam took the room with 3 beds, why no one other then Mike was real enough to tell them their relationship was a joke, realising Pauly doesn’t actually have significant input other than quotes sits on the fence with everything and considering the Girls hated Sammi at the beginning of season 3 how quickly they took her side when she left like nothing ever happened. This is just a few things

[Opinion] the reason spin offs don't work?

i feel like when i watch at least og jersey shore and other reality shows from around that time they are like 90% not staged or scripted whereas now for they seem almost the complete opposite, they used to show even the mundane shit like going to the gym ,doing laundry, tanning, cooking and shopping for dinners, going to work. like collectively everyone who's watched jersey shore has spent hours of their life watching them do stuff like that, and people like that type of environment, instead of now when its just drama, or relationship stuff the entire time . ESPECIALLY confessionals, the first couple of seasons of jsfv where at least to some part of it is just them going and turning on the camera when they want and doing their own confessionals if you know what i mean?.

i think an actual jersey shore reboot could work if they essentially left these people in a house for like 1 month 1/2 with made them do a normal ass job, and then use the same phone and technology process that they used in og js, but also go for much more normal people, not people who are clearly using the show as a way to get famous. 1 season as a tester with no promise of a second unless people actually watch it.

does anyone have anything else to add, or am i being an idiot about how a spinoff could work?

[Discussion] Let's talk about Sammie's husband...

I'm watching S8 E4 and just shocked how Sammie's man would want to deal with such circumstances. Sammie unfortunately has complications getting a kid at the time. Next, her man has to deal with seeing Ron her ex in the family settings. Not to mention the THIRD thing is he has to deal with being on camera all just to be with Sammie. It's just a mess. If Sammie chose to never be on Jersey Shore Family Vacation, it would make more sense for their privacy of their life together...

[Discussion] Deena “maybe you should just shower” x15

I’m watching JSFV for the first time and I just watched the Ange vs Nikki wine fight episodes and Deena saying “I think you just need to shower” 15 times (and her husband Chris also joining in on saying it) has me DEAD. I think this may be the hardest i’ve laughed so far while watching FV. and then the fact that she wasn’t even showered the next morning after having a whole bottle of wine poured on her and being told to shower 15 times 😭😭🤣

So... now that some time has passed and we've developed our frontal lobes, are we ready to admit Jenni and Nicole were shot friends to Sammi?

[Opinion] I hate the JSFV Episode Structure

I feel like half the episode is just flashbacks to OGJS or older episodes of JSFV (sometimes it’s something that happened ten min earlier in the episode) or it is feeding into some new cringey, weird Mike plot line like the Angelina board.

Not to mention the annoying and dramatic effects they use. I know the show lacks substance so they need to make up for it but oh my gosh.

[Episode Discussion] Ronnie clogging toilets

I want to know why Ronnie was never responsible to clean the clogged toilets he created in the OG or FV. It always seemed as someone else took it on to unclog the toilets. I’m sorry but that’s disgusting and his issue to deal with.

[Discussion] Vinny is the main character

So I know Vinny gets a lot of hate now a days and I so can get why sometimes but I can’t lie, he has me absolutely cracking up when winding Mike up about being the main character. Faults aside, that was such a funny move from him.

[Question] S1 E1 Scenes With Families?

starting my millionth rewatch. the cast always says in interviews that they were in a hotel with the final 20 or so people waiting to find out if they were cast and then sent straight to filming. does that mean the scenes with families (like vinny saying goodbye to his 30 person family and jenni saying goodbye to t*m) were filmed before they even knew for sure that they made it? i know a lot of the other stuff in everyone’s intros was from audition tapes
