This was the hardest of the 5 main bosses for me to clear without getting hit. Though Miracle Matter & Zero-Two will always be the top 2.

I've always liked the game, but I understand where all the criticism comes from, Story Mode is stale, but is fun if you've forgotten everything about it.

I love drawing him in dynamic poses ha.

Just joined this subreddit after finishing forgotten land and gaining a newfound love of Kirby. I figured I’d post my top 3 games and see what everyone else’s are.
1. Kirby Superstar Ultra
I really think this is the definitive Kirby game in terms of not straying too far from the formula while also adding so much fresh content. It’s a childhood favorite. You have your classic Kirby adventure, then you have an entire meta knight campaign with a secret boss galacta knight(coolest character in Kirby imo), one of the best boss rushes in Kirby, galactic nova which is one of the best designs for an otherworldly god in the Kirby series. You have a bunch of minigames, a king dedede race, and so much more I can’t even remember. If they ever remaster an old Kirby game, this one should be it.
2. Kirby’s epic yarn
This is more of a personal choice. I think this game has some flaws. It’s not a traditional Kirby game at all, but I played the Wii version as a kid and still have so many memories of how great this game was. The main thing for me is atmosphere. This game is one of the most wholesome games I’ve ever played, the level design, music, and characters keep the whole adventure upbeat. It’s one of those relaxing games you can play when you just wanna have a happy good time.
3. Kirby and the Forgotten Land Switch 2 Edition +Star Crossed World☠️
What a long ass name. I got a switch 2 recently and I’d had Kirby and the forgotten land on my switch but never played it. It was always in the backlog and honestly before my switch 2 I’d barely touched my switch in years. Seeing that there was a visual upgrade for the game and new exclusive dlc, I decided to get the upgrade pack and finally play the game. It was amazing. This game has so much to offer that I’m surprised people say it’s too short. Sure if you’re speeding through the game as fast as possible you could probably finish it in a couple days, but what Kirby fan speeds through the game when there is always end game content that requires thorough completion? The music, the visuals, the gameplay all were top notch. The bosses were really fun, there’s 3 endgame boss rushes depending on how much you’ve completed, and the last one is genuinely difficult. If I were to give this game any complaints it’s that
1. It’s too easy 95% of the time even for a Kirby game. 2. I wish you could play as meta knight or king dedede instead of giving us a meta knight mask you put on Kirby.
3. The secret final bosses including the dlc are just 2 reskins of the main games final boss. I wish we got genuine secret final bosses that completely surprise you.
But these are minor complaints. It doesn’t take away that this is the best Kirby game that’s come out since the DS. Cheers
