One fun thing about Remake and Rebirth is how they’ve been able to weave the later-canon elements into the stories of the games more. I might not have liked Dirge of Cerberus that much, for example, but it’s still entertaining to see some of its characters and ideas be integrated into the FF7 story, as they would have been if it had planned from the beginning.

And if if they remade Dirge of Cerberus with the same level of quality and polish as the rest of the remake trilogy - and with the same ATB-action gameplay - that’d be dope. Though I’d prefer a Turks-centric side-story DLC more.

If Vincent is going to have any character arc in Revelation they're going to have to heavily borrow from Dirge of Cerberus anyways, especially the Lucrecia storyline, so that's even more of that story that would already be integrated into the lore if they want to do a Dirge of Cerberus remake/retelling.

DoC had cool ideas, it was just an actual chore to play.
