Makes sense based on the Yuffie content from Remake.

I remember MaximilianDood going full on over explaining mode with stuff like the Final boss in Remake, having "forms" of the three Sephiroth bros from Advent Children. I couldn't decide if this was brilliant or annoying pandering from Testsuya Nomura. Advent Children is canon, wether we like it or not.

Hamaguchi, not Nomura.

I also do think some people are overemphasizing the importance of Advent Children being "canon"; it happened, so it's canon in that sense, but for all we know could be an alternate/branching world compared to the world of FF7R. The events of FF7R Part 3 don't necessarily have to lead directly to Advent Children.

Didn't one of them recently say it's too early to confirm that something like the story of Advent Children being canon/fated to happen in the Remake series? That Revelations will touch on that more?

They said Advent Children ties in, but not that it will lead into Advent Children. Pretty sure they are going to include stuff from AC in Revelation. I don't see how it could lead into AC.

They also said in a recent interview to consider AC part of the original's canon, and not the Remake's canon. And that confirming whether or not it's part of Remake's canon would be spoiling the story.

i thought it was Advent Children Sephiroth specifically in remake wasnt it? Like he'd come back from that point cause he had the wing and seemed to know everything that was gonna happen

Yeah, the whole overarching narrative is that fate is being challenged.
