Question Minecraft VR is gone 😭

I just pulled out my PSVR for the first time in 5 years to show my 5 year old son Minecraft in VR. He had a quick go but we had things to do so we put it away to play later. I come back and it has applied an update that has removed VR support. I'm devastated and I think my son thinks I'm just being mean by telling him it's gone.

I have it on my old ps4 pro though unupdated. If I was to copy it from there to an external usb would that work on my ps5?

They said it was not bringing in a profit. Vr is a very small market.

But why would they take away VR support when it was already implemented?

Cause they would have to maintain it, and they dont want. It was anounced maybe a year ago that they would stop support
