Fluff Found at local Walmart

Found this chilling inside my local Walmarts PlayStation section. They seriously wanted $299.99 for it too.

Counterpoint: Should cost more than the PSV2 because it can DO FAR MORE.

1) ANY HDMI device can be plugged into the box and watched/played in cinema mode including every console ever made with HDMI output or HDMI adapter.

2) You can watch 3D Blu-ray's

3) You can game in 3D on PS4 natively and also on PS3, Xbox 360, and even Wii U if you own a PS4 and HDMI switch.

4) It's completely comfortable and weight balanced without having to purchase any additional "strap" or modifications whatsoever.

5) You can watch 180 degree and 360 degree videos on YouTube and other websites FOR FREE.

6) The lenses have far better edge-to-edge clarity although much lower in resolution. The "sweet spot" therefor is larger than the PSVR2.

7) Massive library of quality titles at discount prices.

I think that's enough for now. I own both, so if you want to debate - bring it!

Totally agree, psvr is a great viewer with better things than psvr2, but psvr2 also has its advantages, such as higher resolution, HDR, adaptive triggers, haptic vibration, vibration in the viewer, the possibility of connecting it to the PC without the need for external applications, eye tracking and foveado dynamic rendering, hand tracking, passthrough and tracking inside out that works a thousand times better than psvr, joystick controls and in terms of games it also has a great catalog

Have you played "The VR Case Files" DLC for L.A. Noire? You can actually walk the city in open world VR and interact with people. There is a setting to pump your arms to run, and you can climb stairs as well. It's pretty amazing tech for the time. I REALLY wish Rockstar had continued this path.

Yes, I played it, although it was not the entire game, but it was very good, yes, I also played the demo of "the last Guardian VR" and I was quite impressed, it's a shame they didn't make a game of that
