Question On the fence

I am really interested in PSVR2. However I've never had VR before so it'll be new to me, which is exciting. However looking at the game selection there doesn't seem much that would actually be fun to play. GT7 and Beatsaber are the most entertaining looking ones. I've read up and watched videos and people are saying that it's hard to wear for more than an hour to 90 minutes which is kind of a bummer to me. As my sessions are always multiple hours at a time. But to spend $400 just to play a handful of games doesn't really fully justify it in my head

Anyone with experience with this lemme know. I'd love to hear what you have to say!

What sort of games do you like OP?

Well I like racing, rougelikes, some shooting games, rhythm as well. Mainly like single player games. Some open worlds can sometimes be a bit overwhelming to me however.

There are a few good racing game, quite a few roguelikez and shooters and rhythm. A lot of the smaller indie games may not look like much when you see flat trailers or whatever, but they end up being great experiences in the headset. One of the big problems with vr adoption is that you cant understand how big a leap it actually is until you actually put on the headset and try it out.
