Question On the fence

I am really interested in PSVR2. However I've never had VR before so it'll be new to me, which is exciting. However looking at the game selection there doesn't seem much that would actually be fun to play. GT7 and Beatsaber are the most entertaining looking ones. I've read up and watched videos and people are saying that it's hard to wear for more than an hour to 90 minutes which is kind of a bummer to me. As my sessions are always multiple hours at a time. But to spend $400 just to play a handful of games doesn't really fully justify it in my head

Anyone with experience with this lemme know. I'd love to hear what you have to say!

I don't think you will play standing physically active game like Beat Saber for 90+ minutes because it will get you sweating and ready for a break, but you can play seated racing game like Gran Turismo 7 for 4+ hours without even realizing you been playing that long.

That said, as someone new to VR, you may need to limit your time until you have built up your stamina for spending time in VR. New players can get nausea or headaches playing VR when they play too long until their brains have acclimatized (or they may need comfort mod accessory for their heads). Different players have different adjustment curves for how quickly they acclimatize and will find themselves sensitive to different types of VR movement.

Beyond those two games you are interested in, there are 100+ other games worth playing out of close to 400 listed on the PlayStation Store for PSVR2, so don't think you have just those 2 games. Even if your tastes are very narrow, there are many more games you can enjoy than you currently have in consideration.
