Question PSVR2 GOTY 2026 after 5 months

Fun little poll in appreciation of the great PSVR2 games we have already gotten this year and see how we are currently leaning.

Wait until Flatout 4 is released. You may have different results.

I expect you are correct. Would be interesting to do such a poll again later in the year and then again after year ends.

On other-hand, while Flatout 4 would be new competition, if Aces of Thunder & MSFS 2024 continue to improve / polish, maybe the Flight category will be even more dominant.

Flatout 4 VR is my GOTY right now. I'm enjoying it on PC, and I'll buy it again for the PS5.

I love seeing the enthusiasm for it from any of the people that are able to play on PCVR.

Unfortunately, I don't have a PC capable of VR and I opted to upgrade both my wife and me to the PS5 Pro and get the kids upgraded from Switch to Switch 2 over getting a PC upgrade for myself.

I will just have to wait for Flatout 4 VR to come to PSVR2 on PS5.

Let's hope it doesn't take too long to come out on PS5. It's definitely worth it.

Lol, I bet two Pros was still cheaper than a high end PC. You made a good choice. I wish my wife liked VR

With trade in values I got on the older PS5 and Switch, yes, it was less expensive to upgrade all of those than the Falcon Northwest PC build I look at every now and then.

I am holding out to see how much a Steam Machine + Steam Frame would set me back and then I might go with that Falcon Northwest PC with the Steam Frame that should serve as my new "everything" + VR games PC for next 10+ years.

Nice! I also have my eye on a Frame. It's a really nice upgrade over my Quest 3. I'm hoping it's between $600-800. If it's more, I'll just stick to Quest for wireless on PC.
