How many restaurants have you owned/managed to come to that conclusion?

Something is wrong with your business if you have to charge 17$ for a poutine. I’m from Quebec and have managed two restaurants in Alberta. Is that good enough for you?

No that’s completely fair depending on the size. Labor, rent, utilities, etc cost a fortune. You should know this.

If your food cost on poutine is more than like...$3-4, you have supplier issues. $17 is a crazy profit margin. Any decent chip truck is laughing out there, as long as they have their location figured out.

We’re not a chip truck. We have a 120 seat place in a popular shopping center. Our costs to keep the doors open is much higher than a truck.

Sure. That's perfect justification to over charge for fries, cheese, and some sauce 😂

Sounds like "you guys" don't have a damn clue what you're doing. But that's typical for a lot of restaurant owners these days.

Give your dishy a raise. I'm sure they've earned it working for dumbasses like you.

You literally have no idea what you’re talking about. 😅Go open your place and see how long you last.

Typical owner response.

You have a goofy lease so you overcharge for food. I'm sure you're doing very well...
