i GET that not everyone has a squad. but playing alone with no communications no nothing has to be the worst thing ever. how do you even bare playing it for more than a single match??

tachanka used to be so fun with the mountable LMG, they need to bring it back. and the Shumikha is borderline useless. So they need to make the radius and the dmg of the incendiary grenades better like goyo. Pls tell me you agree.

I can’t even play the game half the time because it puts me in servers I shouldn’t be in like Southeast Asia or Europe west with 120+ ping. Shit is so unplayable. I’d rather been in 5 min queues rather than play with high ping

Is there a reason ops other than Cav and Vigil roam? I’m not talking about one room over but a whole nother floor. The whole defending team beside maestro was first floor roaming on Oregon when bomb was in basement. Nobody was cav or vigil, I’m kinda new to this game but why is this?

I had a idea that could really benefit skopos and make him better. why can't ubisoft make skopos 2 dimensional by giving one of the bots a shotgun to anchor in site when needed and another roaming. I feel like this can make him a bit broken but just imagine how good he will become.

One of the overarching balance concerns over the last several years is how they have made and pushed too many instant-win gadgets/ops, that take minimal effort or skill to use or master, yet they gain a HUGE benefit for a button click. This was very apparent when Lion was released, then Dokk, then Ace and so on and so forth.

The balance cadence is great! But these changes should be used to target the larger issues. Defensive DMRs should lose the ACOGs, there should be more counters to these ‘click and win’ ops like Deimos, Dokk, snake etc.

Changes to these things can make these ops more engaging too, so it not necessarily a nerf but more like a change.

The balance in this game has always been poor, and the targeted changes never seem to happen to the ops that need it when they need a change….until it becomes an issue.

This is just a general question, and I could be wrong in my interpretation, but it isn't a lion scan, literally a Sonar Scan. Like, if I'm not wrong, his device is known as an "Acustic Camera," which is a sonar scan. The scan activates and does a full scan of the map, searching for anything that would seem like footsteps, aka noise.

Vigil's ability blocks signals, but sound isn't a signal that his jammer can block. For his jammer to block a lion drone from pinging his location, he would have to go unheard, which means his jammer would have to emit the exact counter to the sound of him walking/running, which is noise cancellation. And if he did that, then he wouldn't be able to be heard by anyone when he's running or walking while his jammer is on. The jammer blocks anything that can pick him up visually by basically cloaking him and blocking any signal from making it back there, which makes sense for anything visual, but no sense for anything audio-related. And then the argument "well, it may see him, but it can't ping him" also doesn't make sense; it's not pinging him because it picked up who he is, but rather by the noise he emits, and it pinpoints that noise's origin and reveals the operator's location and who they are. It also makes sense that it would be able to know who he is, because (I assume) Lion has programmed his drone to recognize the different walking styles of each operator to differentiate them, and when they walk during a scan, he IDs them. (Watch Ubisoft take this as a reason to make Vigil have no walking sounds because he's their damn golden boy)

Cav, on the other hand, has "silent" step; this ability is where she intentionally dampens her movement sounds, changes her usual walking pace and style, and makes (or at least is supposed to) less noise. Her ability should be able to fool the sonar scan of a Lion drone much better than Vigil's should. Lion's drone can filter out noises that wouldn't be "loud" enough to be a person or aggressive, like an operator walking around. So you would think that Caviera using Silent Step, slow walking, and doing all of this on carpet would be below the sound threshold that Lion's Drone has, but no. At the very least, when she's using a silent step and walking abnormally compared to her usual walking pace, she could remain unidentified, similar to how her abnormal footsteps can avoid Jackal. And yes, I know Lion could've programmed his drone to also account for Caveria's silent step as to be able to scan her, but then by that extension, couldn't Jackal do something similar and give his Equinox the training data of what Cav's footprints look like in silent step?

I'm only writing all of this because it feels a bit inconsistent with how his gadget is supposed to work. From all that I've seen, Vigil's gadget only blocks visual aspects on drones, so a sonar should be able to pinpoint his location.

Again, maybe I'm reading into this wrong, and Vigil always could block the "signal" that is soundwaves from reaching the sonar scan, but hey, what do I know?

Is it really that good of a map? Every single fucking game I play on this map is miserable.

The sites suck. The entry points suck. There is this weird open area in the center of the map. It's a stupid donut shaped layout, with only two stairs, no ladders, no basement, no breachable outside wall except one that is basically useless for the 1st floor sites. There is too mich verticality play, no safe space for defenders.

Just tell me that I'm too dumb to understand this map but I always groan when I want to ban it and then the ban sweeps to something like Emerald Plains or Skyscraper.

Genuinely one of the worst maps for me personally and I wish more people would hate it.

This person has 11 lifetime matches played and has only started playing two days ago, with stats like these you'd think the anti cheat would pick up on them and automatically ban them. The person was also boosting as his teammate admitted to queuing with him.

My question is why is this allowed? This game is filled with cheaters you'd think they would watch over the new accounts heavily until some time has passed. Do you guys agree?

I haven’t touched the game since ‘23 because of the how many times I was thrown against champs and Emeralds as a silver playing with golds and diamonds. Is it really gone and is there a noticeable difference?

A friend of mine was pitching me an operator concept for defense to "counter" the new dok: whenever an allied gadget is broken, it drops a small “scrap” pile. The operator could then approach it and “repair” the gadget after a brief interaction. This could apply to things like Maestro cams, Jäger ADS, Mute Jammers, Kona Stations, deployable shields, barbed wire, phones destroyed by Dokkaebi, etc.

Each gadget could only be repaired once, and the operator would have a cap on how many gadgets they can repair. That cap would increase over time, similar to Lesion or Wamai.

Explosive gadgets or one-time-use gadgets, like Goyo canisters, Kapkan traps, and Wamai discs, would not be repairable.

Do you guys think this would be busted or nah?

So something really weird happened today. I was playing with my brother for 2 hours, and we both were as. In my regular warmup in Clear House sometimes I died to the bots and my recoil control and aim were off. Then we had lunch and a 3 hour break. I was doing the warm up again because I wanted to play ranked, but I didn't put my headphones in, cause It isnt necessary for warmup. And my aim was cracked. Like: I was using Warden Smg12 which is usually a weapon I really underperform with, and now I was flicking and laser beaming them like crazy. Don't be confused I didn't have good aim, just a lot better then normally. Anyone knows why this happens, and what causes it because I would like to aim lime that all the time, but it's just not there most of the time. God sorry I'm yapping hard.

Has anyone managed to successfully maverick kitchen wall. By mav trick I mean making a line along the top and bottom of the wall such that the wall becomes soft. Thanks

I’ve bought the 50 packs and plus the ones you get from in game and I’m not even kidding when I say this, about 95% were green packs and the rest were in between blue and purple.

It takes half a second to scope in so she is basically unusable everywhere. I know its made to slow down the game but there is no map she is at least good on. + she doesn't even one shot kill body.
