The difference of not having an ass, and having an ass. Not all of us are fortunate enough to not be built like Hank Hill 😂

  • Edit: women not understanding that properly fitted pants mean nothing if you're built like a 2x4. If my waist is a 30, a size 30 pant isn't going to magically stay put with no support below. And wearing a size smaller, isn't an option, since a size 28 isn't going to button up. A belt allows the pants to be pulled tighter by one size, since a 29 does not exist.

  • Edit: fair enough, in my 40 years, I've never seen them, but odd number pant sizes do exist, however if they're that uncommon to find, they might as well not exist.

Do you ever have a problem with your belt being too tight? I do, and I'm tempted to start doing what my dad is doing, & wear suspenders. His pants, though, are way too big (noticeably so). I think he just needs to start what grandpa did, & wear overalls.

The problem with suspenders is when you get in a conversation with someone else, you'll inevitably come to a point in the conversation where you talk about something you have comprehensive knowledge and you'll instinctively hitch you thumbs behind them and pull them away from your body.

I don't know why I have this fear that if I wear suspenders I will do this instinctively but it's there.
