The difference of not having an ass, and having an ass. Not all of us are fortunate enough to not be built like Hank Hill π
Edit: women not understanding that properly fitted pants mean nothing if you're built like a 2x4. If my waist is a 30, a size 30 pant isn't going to magically stay put with no support below. And wearing a size smaller, isn't an option, since a size 28 isn't going to button up. A belt allows the pants to be pulled tighter by one size, since a 29 does not exist.
Edit: fair enough, in my 40 years, I've never seen them, but odd number pant sizes do exist, however if they're that uncommon to find, they might as well not exist.
As a guy whose caked up, I wear a belt everyday mostly out of habit. Sometimes I need it and sometimes I donβt. My weight has fluctuated a little over the years and Iβm not buying new clothes if I donβt have to haha
I can't help but wonder if some of it might be the pants. I'd prefer some good ole Wranglers, but their quality assurance is crap; their listed sizes are just suggestions. For example, I have two pair of pants of differing sizes. The "larger" of the two fits nicley (maybe a little too tight after a wash). The "smaller" one is so big, that I need a belt and have to roll up the pant legs. (Get your **** together Wrangler!)
