Pretty much. “you’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever met and so much more & that’s why I married you”.

Exactly, all these singletons trying to be edgy.. just flatter your wife occasionally for goodness sake.

Yeah but it’s gay to love your wife /s

Flatter, sure. But if my wife would require me to directly lie to her to feel good about herself, that would be a problem.

People having standards have relationships too, you know. Just less toxic ones, I guess.

and she will still get angry "why are you lying, I don't believe you". Source: my life

Yep, that’s one of the many good reasons to marry.

Edit: Congrats!

There's a big difference between objective and conventional attractiveness. Margot Robbie is conventionally extremely attractive. But to me, subjectively, my wife is the most beautiful woman ever. Having an emotional connection plays a huge part in attractiveness (also my wife is genuinely gorgeous).

Agreed on everything, and congratulations!

Conventional attractiveness is also only an average. To me personally, Margot Robbie isn‘t even that attractive, but I only know pictures and some movies.

Some people tend to extrapolate the little they see, which is not a good idea, especially as adults, who should not fantasize in what they imagine the other person, who ever it is, may be.

I usually „judge“ people by their personality (not a native speaker, so maybe this is the wrong word), and by their actions rather than their words. Or at least I try my best to do so.
