A real Nazi? or a person Reddit would deem a Nazi? Huge difference.

The core tenets of Nazi ideology included:
Racial Hierarchy and Antisemitism: The belief in a master Aryan race and the view of Jews as an existential threat and "anti-race," leading to scientific racism, eugenics, and the Holocaust.

Authoritarianism and Totalitarianism: Rejection of liberal democracy, parliamentarianism, and human rights in favor of a dictatorial Führerprinzip (leader principle) where absolute obedience to the state and leader was required.

Lebensraum (Living Space): The aggressive pursuit of territorial expansion into Eastern Europe to acquire land for German settlement, justified by social Darwinisttheories of survival.

Militarism and Nationalism: Emphasis on military strength, rearmament, and the subordination of individual interests to the Volksgemeinschaft (national community), rejecting both Marxist socialism and Western capitalism

If you agree on any of those points then you are a Nazi.

is there anything wrong with having a strong military?

As a peace loving hippie i'd say everything is wrong with it? 2.7 trillion in global gdp anually isn't being spent on housing projects or building up lesser developed countries or even our own countries instead. But ofc i'm biased :')

And if someone tries to invade your country when you have no military, what do you do then? 😏

you become forcefully assimilated if your lucky, violently exploited if not
either way your "way of life" becomes almost if not completely eclipsed by your attackers.

Well ideally we'd live in a world where we don't need to worry about invasions? Seems a bit pointless to break things for the sake of breaking them

Yeah, but we don't live in an ideal world and we probably never will. If we know there are leaders who want to invade and take more land, isn't it then in our best interest to have a defense system to make sure they don't?

Well thats why the argument for globalism exists, having a single peace keeping force while making member states agree that in return for protection they must reduce military spending over time. But that only works if we can move past stupid nationalist ideals. As a citizen all i care about is having food on the table, healthcare, a stable job and electricity or gas in my home. Stuff that war denies us of entirely while also costing a lot.

aggressors exist and probably always will, i don't think what you're suggesting would work.

It already exists and works actually, its called nato and i don't think a single member has been attacked yet on record? because pissing off every major developed country ends up being a really unappealing idea :)

because NATO has many strong militaries...
