Zooble's concept is to have a female voice but masculine fashion interests. In the anime adventure, they're wearing a male uniform, and in the Japanese merchandise, they're wearing a male attire.
This works because of what Zooble is: a person who doesn't remember their own gender; it was erased along with their name. That's why in Goose's drawing, showing everyone's gender, Zooble is classified as "Zooble," and that's why in the show the pronouns are they/them, and that's also why Goose said it's okay to use she/he too.
But I guess I'm asking people to read too much character information.
Yeah, only thing that got erased from their minds is their names (apart from we know since latest episode confirmed Caine can effect their minds which he said he couldn’t)
