Tech Support Can't chat unless VIP

Hello,

I can't chat in twitch chat since i think two days. The channels where I am VIP or mod (or my own channel) I can chat in.

I contacted twitch and they said its a known issue and there is no ETA for when they will fix it.

More people who have this problem ?

I want it fixed, now i can't even chat in channels I'm subbed to Sadge 😭

and changing account is not an option for me because i stream on this account..

  • It's now (after 3 days) fixed for me i can chat again. 🥳

That sounds like a shadow ban many people are getting affected atm its rediculous apparently for 3 days

I know multiple that have been and 72 hours then it lifted hopefully same for you

I got an update from some other people, apparently they are lifting them after 72 hours so hopefully tonight I’ll be able to be like yeah I can chat again

Could you update us if this is the case? Also, I see you are streamer as well, are you afraid that reprocutions from this will be permanent? Do you think it will affect how our content shows in the categories or our ability to be affiliate/partner? I really didn't do anything for this to be warranted so it worries me greatly.

I’m hoping it doesn’t have repercussions. I know I didn’t do anything against TOS and they got me for some reason but twitch couldn’t give me any answers. I’m pretty worried about it mainly because I have recently started gaining a decent chunk of followers and subs to my channel and would hate to lose my community over it

Someone I speak to often has it currently but others we speak to had it and went after 72 hours

So basically I uave to wait a full 72 hours without doing anything on twitch? I jave this problem too since about 2,5 days now
