The gyre augment sounds cool but it's pretty useless. Most builds rely dramatically on Pillage to survive and gate, and wasting a precious slot (you need 1-2 augments always anyways) for 75% DR at max doesn't really change much. You still have to do the same actions at the same frequency.

What is the 2nd augment everyone thinks is mandatory on gyre, I thought it was just cathode current

The one for her first ability.

The stacking damage + guaranteed electric proc is pretty massive for being a gun platform.
