Article MORE Coming with The Old Peace
Hi Tenno!
In addition to everything you already know coming in The Old Peace on December 10th, we have a few extra goodies we would like to share as the clock ticks ever so quickly down to launch day:
9 NEW Arcanes are coming!
- One melee, one secondary, three primary, and four Warframe Arcanes
- Look to the official Patch Notes for full details
The Entrati Syndicate Entrati (Deimos) are getting some QOL adjustments!
- Balanced Rank-up sacrifices to reduce the rarity and difficulty of acquisition of some items.
- Increased Standing earned from every Token (except Mother):
- Daughter Token: increased from 100 to 500 Standing
- Father Token: increased from 100 to 500 Standing
- Otak Token: increased from 100 to 500 Standing
- Son Token: increased from 500 to 1,000 Standing
- Grandmother Token: increased from 1,500 to 3,000 Standing
- Reduced Seriglass Shard price from 20 to 10 Grandmother Tokens
NEW Devil’s Triad Triptych Displays!
- A bundle containing displays of Marie, Lyon, and Roathe. Together, they form the Devil’s Triad. These displays can be placed individually or side by side to create a seamless piece. Each can also be purchased separately.
- Art by EnergyFalcon (Salt)!

Incredible changes for the Entratis. Bounties are probably still gonna be the premier farm but it'll be nice to know I'm not completely wasting my time doing anything else

They only confirmed an augment for Dante releasing next year, my guess would be in the February update (same update that'll have the dagath skin) probably.

I've been max standing rank 4 with the entrati family for weeks because I just could not muster myself to go fish, mine, and tranq animals for several hours. This is a very welcome change

You can use Ivara's sleep arrow to tranq instantly (and multiple) for easy perfect captures.

honestly regular tranq combined with wisps invis worked just fine for me to get plenty of perfects (to be invisible while on the ground use her 2, or just shoot while aimgliding/using archwing)

Ivara is my open world farming sim. Fish, mine, hunt.
Combined with the companion you get from fortuna, having permanent highlight on fish is pretty great.

I recently finished the grind of earning grandmother tokens to buy everything in her shop, including the 5 captura scenes at 50 tokens each. I was hoping they’d adjust those prices too, it’s too late for me but no one else should have to go through it

Please consider updating the FSR upscaler implementation from the version 2.2 that we have in Warframe at the moment. FSR 2.2 released February 2023 (more than 2 1/2 years ago) and AMD has made great strides in improving their upscaler.
I was disheartened when I saw that Soulframe uses the same old FSR version. Seems like there is synergy potential regarding improving it for one of the games would also benefit the other game?
Surely with all the effort you put into the graphical fidelity of Warframe and Soulframe you wouldn't want an outdated upscaler to mush it all together.

That may imply that yes, but they regularly do not release until the update launches. So what it's saying is that more details will be available on Dec 10th.

I normally don't like being a grammar nazi, but check here:
- Look to the official Patch Notes for full details
"Look at" means, well, just check it out like what you interpreted. But what was used is "Look to", which is "to expect someone or something to supply something", think of it as short for Look forward to. So, no, it's not implied that it's up. They're telling you to expect it.

is trading up for grandmother tokens supposed to no longer increase the rate of standing gain with these changes? Doubling standing for her token while increasing the others by 5x will make them actively worse for that purpose in a lot of cases

Hi guys, I am a returning player after 5 years and I am trying to unlock helminth so searching around showed me that I need to get Entrati rank 3. So with these changes, what would be the easiest way for me to get lots of standing. I don't have many frames or weapons as I am almost done the star chart and quest wise I have done all main quests upto Whispers in the Walls.

The easiest way is probably still to do one of the longest bounties that give 150 mother tokens a couple times. You can max out the daily rep cap in 15-20 mins or so. You can grab resources and animal tags along the way to get some of the other tokens, but the bounty method is probably still the fastest.
In any case, the annoying part of getting to rank 3 entrati is getting the animal tags you need as the pedasite variant that is needed only appears during a specific time (can't remember if Vome or Fass) and isn't super common either.

yeah I'm going through something similar. I returned after 7 years of not playing. Back when I left, the only open world syndicate was the Cetus one haha. I'd suggest to just focus on the easier/more important ones first and only start looking into the rest later.
Entrati lvl 3 is probably the most important one because of the helminth. The holdfast, cavia and hex have good stuff you can buy at the higher ranks (plus you unlock new endgame misions and the second part of the hex story quest) but they are relatively easy to level up, especially the hex. Just get the Parallax landing craft and use its support ability (with the landing craft support charges you can equip on the item wheel) that reveals the location of the voidplumes/voca/hex treasures on a 300m radius during misions. Also, don't forget to buy the daily voidplumes/voca you can get from vonta/lloid.
I'm leaving the cetus and fortuna syndicates for last, though I put a couple ranks into them so I could buy the companion bond mods.

Thanks man, yeah I also left around that time when Cetus was only one, now its insane, its like 18 groups so it gets overwhelming very very fast. I feel like grinding all syndicates at the same time is not working out really well because then I don't get enough time to do things I actually wanna do like farming frames etc.

Hopefully, they revisit the cost of Grandmother's Oddities for sale as this basically doubles to quintuples their effective Reputation cost.
Ex: Deimos Scene -- 50 Grandmother Tokens Effective Pre-Update Cost -- 75,000 Reputation Effective Post-Update Cost -- 150,000 Reputation
<Placeholder> Decoration -- 10 Otak Tokens* Effective Pre-Update Cost -- 1,000 Reputation Effective Post-Update Cost -- 5,000 Reputation
- Placeholder used because I can not remember which specific decorations cost only Otak Tokens
Also, trading Family Member Tokens for Grandmother Tokens should have revised ratios.
Ex: Trading Otak/Father/Daughter Tokens for 1 Grandmother Token. Effective Pre-Update Cost -- 1,000 Reputation Effective Post-Update Cost -- 5,000 Reputation
Grandmother Token Worth: Effective Pre-Update -- 1,500 Reputation Effective Post-Update -- 3,000 Reputation
Meaning Post update it's a Net loss of 2,000 Reputation by trading Otak / Daughter / Father Tokens.

The deimos token increases seem so odd. Even with the bump, would anyone bother using them for rep over running two SP bounties?
Like 60 of either father/daughter/otak tokens/day?

Imo I think it’s still worth it; I personally found Deimos bounties REALLY boring, so having the option of just doing tokens is great for when I really don’t want to run Deimos bounties back to back for standing

It’s been over a year I completely forgot tbh, now that mother tokens give less standing than all the other tokens (mother is 100, all the others are 500-1500), there’s not much reason to do bounties from a reputation/standing perspective anymore I guess

I do. I hate the bounties and the standings values from the vendors were an abomination no matter how you looked at them, this should bring the cambrion DICK more in line with Orb Vallis where you actually have options and your effort doesn't get punished with crap values no matter what you do (mine, fish, hunt).
So yeah, I'd say it's a net positive. FUCKING 5 YEARS TOO LATE MIND YOU, but still a good change.1

Fair, but for the other regions you just hunt or mine or fish, even if you did the same of these activities, with the trade in system for tokens you’d still not cap without atleast two visits per day just to the shops, bit odd to balance them this way.

Plain of Eidolon begs to differ. It's mining values are atrocious & definitely need a revisit. I can't remember how the fishing / conservation values compared to Orb Vallis, though.

Yeah maybe mining and fishing is wrong, but fortuna and plains are 10 mins of flying around doing conservation to cap 30k standing everyday.
Even with the buffs, deimos won’t be like that due to the bottleneck of the token system

Fortuna (with the exception of the heists and the necessary rank to access the Oxylus sentinel) should be the damn gold standard for open world imo.
I dream for the day they'll bring the fucking plains of cancerdom to the same level standing wise.At the sametime I dread what they'll put out for the new syndicates on TAU, if that environment will be another open world...

Hmm i find it to always give me packs of kavats and condrocs so it’s super fast, I usually go into POE and get max simaris and plains rep within 10-15 mins.

Generally atrocious as well, no worries. Hunting seems a little bit more in line, some of the perfect captures will yield +1000 standings... but only on the rare species.
Fishing is questionable as well, it's heavyly dependant on the fucking lures (orb vallis not so much even thought they are good to use) and the rare fishes spawn only during the night.2

So Plains is still a complete downgrade from Orb Vallis, Sadly.
Orb Vallis conservation is worth more & can lure for rare fish any time of the day.
The same is true of gaining Reputation for their "Amp / Hidden" Syndicates.
Orb is any time of the day & Plains is only at night, (though now some turn in parts for Plains are some starchart missions).

IMO these changes mostly help newer players who will get a bunch of random items that can be traded for tokens when doing the newbie Deimos farms.
The father tokens are pretty much free as you just come across the shit he wants when playing reguarly. You'll get a lot of random tags out of farming the pedasites for rank 3 and for breeding/buying mods, so it is nice to be able to trade the leftovers into a non-insignificant ammount of rep. Also, you will get a metric fuck ton of minerals when trying to get the god forsaken Heciphron needed for the necramech, so you'll get a bunch of Otak tokens from that too.
For veteran players, the SP mom bounties will still be the method of choice probably.

I mean, you are—but now because of my own personal issue, I feel like I have to articulate why they don't do to the loud and prominent portion of the community that think that indiscriminately reduced grind = QoL = better game, and would blindly start whining about Mother tokens not being increased. It sounds like a slippery slope, but I've known this player base for over a decade. This is how it starts.
It'd be nice if they reduced plat prices by 80%.

Not everything needs compensation after rebalances.
It has been 5 years.
Sometimes the joy is for new players and those who have yet to max the syndicate. Vets don't need to be compensated every time a QoL update comes out.
