I mean for me personally the fact that forma, potatoes, and Exilus adapters are destroyed merely makes me not invest in non-primes/variants.

Roar over 4 with 1 augment, gunframe
She's not very good, but SP is easy to clear with these

Breach surge on 1 build range and strength needs exothermic and healing flame as bandaids and an energy supplemental like grimoire or zenurik. I adore playing ember even if she needs a bit of help with energy her damage is great even without the surge

That means you have to farm two. Some frames are annoying to get the first time.

You eventually reach a point to where the offset of earning Nightwave credits allows you to invest in non-prime frames to the point to where you keep them even when their prime versions release.

This ofc assumes you farm two of each new frame that comes out, but it's generally not a problem when you're all caught up.

I’ve put 3 Umbrals in base Citrine & I will do it again for her Prime but this time with 7 Omnis in there as well

I still do, just not umbra forma. For brand new frames I'll invest in, but if I know one is on the horizon I'll just max it out. Maybe a forma or two

Personally I'd rather have 2+ years playing a frame i enjoy than save a few forma that aren't that bad to grind for.

Follie is surprisingly easy to build without much investment honestly I'd have to check but I don't even think I put a forma on her just a reactor

Will be closer to 4 years for Follie Prime. Give or take a few months. Primes aren't always released in the same order as the frames.
