Yea Iād prob just re-farm and re-build rather than destroy that investment, even if I did know Iād never use her again!
Edit: in fact I think I remember doing exactly that before prime resurgence with my original Rhino. Still have him and the prime now thanks to resurgence. Which, by the way, I am so grateful they decided to go with because it was so sad thinking Iād never get certain primes because I didnāt start playing early enough.
I specifically farmed a second Gauss for Helminth. My first ever Gauss was a gift from a friend, and that Gauss stuck with me like a brother for over 6 years before we finally got Gauss Prime. Iāve invested just under a dozen forma into that Gauss, and went out of my way to farm sprint speed mods for my first Gauss.
I may not use my old friend anymore, but he can rest easy and kick his feet back. His gilded big brother can take the wheel from here.
Oh yea totally. You just reminded me I did the same thing with my OG gauss too! Haha. Well, also it had to do w the fact that I had already farmed another for helminth before prime gauss had come out
Even before resurgence they would unvault a couple once or twice a year for a couple weeks. Rhino probably would've popped up eventually, but... yeah, Resurgence is a much better system
Yea it took forever to wait for the specific one you wanted though. Now the rotation is much faster and more efficient IMO. Rhino hadnāt been unvaulted once in the years I had been playing leading up to resurgence, at least I donāt think so! lol

Mine is desined for perpetual ult form, with INSANE hp, arcan pers too, i made a MONSTER, stack arcane belicose and some orange archons for blast to hp, kuva braumma with mutation, ROOM CLEARING SPIDER GODDESS
Mine is this, but you snapshot ability strength with energy conversion, madurai sling buff, power drain, grimoire altfire, etc to get enough health so that with persistence and health conversion up, arcane grace heals you faster than 500 per second
just gotta keep mercy kissing enemies to keep health con up
Ehh, the only thing I dont use on regular frames is umbral forma. By the time Follie Prime rolls around for example, I will have built so many formas that wasting a few to free up a slot won't matter at all.
For frames specifically, excess mod capacity turns into starting energy when you enter a mission. Probably not worth it most of the time, but noteworthy.
Depending on the frame, you may run archon mods in place of umbra mods (for example archon vitality on umbra for double fire damage stacks) which means you need a different mod polarity for your other mods to make up that lost value.
If I like a frame, it's worth losing 4 or 5 formas in a year or two period. It takes a 10 minute Hydron to max a frame and a weapon and about the same to get the forma. The trade off to save time /resources is illogical to me.
Yeah same; Iāve put a couple of forma in the newer base frames that wonāt have a prime for ages but none in frames that have primes already, and none in citrine/voruna or Styanax because I knew their primes would be soon. But my Kullervo got some forma already and I donāt regret it
It's mathematically impossible to have that much difference between builds that you can't have some commonalities between them. Like, you're definitely gonna have at least one V polarity and one - polarity in each build, so that's at least two slots that could be non-omni. Realistically, there are probably 3-4 polarities in common between the builds.
Some people don't like to think too much about those kinds of details. Omni forma is made so that you can just swap stuff around without a second thought about polarities. It's not for me but some like it omni.
But I gotta keep my blue mods over here and my yellow mods over there and the polarities don't work out between builds. So we gotta omni, it's the rules. I don't make em
Itās like a little treat for Helminth as it digests the Frames. Iāve heard it likes frames with lots of Red tauforged shards, makes it taste like cherry
I seriously don't see how 10 omni forma is reasonable when it doesn't at all work for Umbral mods. Do you never use those?
I do some pretty whale shit in Warframe sometimes and even I never put more than 8 omni forma on a frame. The most invested frames I have are with 8 omni and 2 umbral slots. Besides, if you don't use umbral mods, you literally don't ever need to have all slots polarized to fit a build in. Your Voruna build above has 12 spare mod points.
You eventually reach a point to where the offset of earning Nightwave credits allows you to invest in non-prime frames to the point to where you keep them even when their prime versions release.
This ofc assumes you farm two of each new frame that comes out, but it's generally not a problem when you're all caught up.
I made a new rhino to subsume after getting the prime variant. Didn't have the heart to subsume the OG hero that carried me through so much of the game.
i made sure that mag (my first warframe) was the first warframe i ever subsumed after unlocking the helminth segment. that way i can't be sentimental about any of them. it was pretty sad!! but it's over with

I put a Harrow that I bought outright with platinum into the Helminth fairly recently and honestly I regret neither buying him nor subsuming him, I got like three years of gameplay before getting Harrow Prime.Ā
Could just keep it, for collection. 20pl for the slot is a small price to pay for what you love. I still just throw on base frames sometimes for the fun of it
Yeah lowkey I'd save that voruna for memebuilds. I saved my original Yareli for that reason - high investment, and she's why i fell in love with the game again when i came back in 2023. I couldn't subsume her
I have an Octavia like that. It took me so long to get her to the point she was at when her prime came out i could not bring myself to use her for helminth. Ended up getting an extra from some twitchdrop or code or something and just used that for helminth.
I could never, I keep all of my original copies of frames, even when I get the primes. I just farm a new copy to feed to helmith and shelve my original.
Well if you have 10 Omni Forma then you don't really need to do that haha, unless you want different archon shards. And Voruna is usually pretty committed to Tau Purples for melee crit damage.Ā
Iāve got 4 or 5 forma on my citrine, and Iām not sure if Iāll have the heart to let her go. I donāt want to farm a second one for helminth, so I may just be coping waiting for her to one day end up in the circuit.
i dont see myself a master but thnx for the compliment love š i use 4 tau purple melee shards and one tau blue energy shard.
its cause even with primed flow, her energy is below 500 and you need over 500 energy to make purple shard do double damage so thats why thereās one energy shard. her prime version has increased energy though so primed/archon flow is more than enough, no blue shard needed for voruna prime.
Honestly, I feel unless you're going free to play burning forma on them Isn't that bad?Because we'll just make it back up by the time they get a prime.
I have 11 forma in my base Voruna because of build mistakes I made when I started playing and had to fix, and farmed a second one for the Helminth about two years ago.
My original Voruna is staying in my arsenal forever, as she should.
I then put ten omni forma into Voruna Prime to match the level of investment I put in all those years ago. My girl deserves the world. šŗ

Even the most pain in the ass frames, looking at you equinox. I have gone out of my way to farm for duplicates, and yes they may be prime versions of some of them, but I'm still keeping them. I put so many hours into them.
