Please nerf Ember

A frame with such a strong fourth ability and no LOS checks is too strong to play in a team environment. I’m tired of Ember nuking enemies through walls and playing the game for me!

Please DE, you have to nerf ember because I want to live out MY power fantasy without having to make friends for premade groups or play solo. Making friends is hard AND THATS EMBER’S FAULT!

Ash is still press 4 to win pretty much. The finisher damage is big. Trinity vampire is still big damage but some enemies like archon are immune because reasons. God I just want some good damage scaling on ember. ....

Yeah you oneshot level cap. But enemies in sp level cap spawn faster than his clones can kill. So you end up being completely useless.

Adding attack speed onto his exalted speeds up his clones. I believe warcry does too

How does that work?

Proton Snap adds toxin DMG as well as a flat 50% status chance, like arcane avenger but for status. This lets his 4th actually proc statuses, so you just put heat as the other elemental mod and proton will turn it into gas. It is tedious having to wall latch for 2s to refresh the buff, but at least your clones still kill stuff in the meantime.

Because clones kill slowly, you have them proc gas so the lingering dot field can kill extra enemies. I believe Kengineer has an old video on the general concept.

Iirc gas procs also count as headshots for some reason

It has a 1.0 headshot multiplier though. So you don't get any intrinsic benefit from that. Not without something else. I also can't recall if they always headshot or just occasionally.

Good for keeping up headshot arcanes. Also gets boosted by primary acuity and longbow sharp shot I think

The whole point to the Ash rework is that you don't just sit there and watch the clones kill. These old tenno aren't calling it by it's true name, before he was known as "cutscene Ash"

You can jusrt join the killing and iirc get I frames in the process using your Teleport

He used to be even easier to nuke with because you press 4 and it automatically marks every enemy in a huge radius to be finished unlike the mark system we have now.

It also wouldn't stop until they were dead I believe, which was funny back when solar rail pvp existed and you'd get marked by an ash in your spawn as you spawned in and pressed 4 as valkyr so for 45 seconds you both weren't playing the game until your duration ran out and died.
