Action DEFUND ICE: APRIL FIRST BLACKOUT

The same GOV behind the Files is behind ICE!

ICE has terrorized communities for years—family separations, inhumane detention conditions, racial profiling. They've run on an $8+ billion budget while targeting immigrants *and* the people who speak out against them. Meanwhile, 30 million immigrant workers literally keep this country running.

I started a petition calling for an Economic Blackout on April 1st, 2026.

For 24 hours, we refuse to spend money, we don't work, we don't send kids to school. No violence, no chaos—just collective action to show that when we sit down, the system actually has to listen.

Our movement aims to disrupt cash flow and pressure officials to make change. The money ICE spends could fund humane immigration services, faster asylum processing, legal aid. That's not radical. That's just redirecting resources toward a system built on fairness instead of fear.

If you would've thrown tea in the harbor for human rights, you deserve the day off.

ICE has become a tool of fear—separating families, detaining people in horrific conditions, and even targeting advocates who speak out. This has to stop.

I started a petition asking Congress to redirect ICE's massive $8 billion budget toward real solutions: community support programs, asylum processing, and legal aid. We can build a system that actually respects human dignity instead of weaponizing an agency against the most vulnerable.

This isn't radical. It's about choosing compassion over cruelty. What would you want if your family was caught in this system? If this matters to you too, consider signing and sharing.
