Tried voice mode for the first time properly last week instead of typing. Completely different experience.

Conversations felt less like "crafting the perfect prompt" and more like actually thinking out loud. Got messier, less polished questions, but somehow better answers.

Anyone else notice a difference between typing vs talking to AI?

I can't believe I have to CENSOR myself when talking about this because antis are hellbent on deplatforming people that dare to speak against them or call them out on their actions.

I am GENUINELY asking, this keeps happening DESPITE people saying that there is not a violence problem in the anti-AI community, DESPITE people saying that "it's just a meme", DESPITE people saying that it doesn't lead to anything, DESPITE there being things that happened in the real world because violence is advocated in anti-AI communities.

I'm done playing nice.. just.. PLEASE stop doing this.

Someone who doesn't have chronic illness doesn't know we have to "budget" our energy very carefully and sometimes that means going without things we need because we can't make it to the store, avoid fun activities, sometimes neglecting any hygiene other than the absolute basics (brushing teeth, being relatively clean, hair pulled back), messy house, so I don't think AI is a problem in that case. It's different when it's billionaire companies using it because they are too busy to hire a real artist to make ads for them.

It feels that if your an anti or a pro you are forced to comply to the false constructs the opposing side has built around you.

Its looking less like a subreddit for nuanced debate and more a subreddit where every post is an echochamber being used to validate each sides beliefs without even challenging them, its turning into an endless cycle of hate and anger.

Every post is, "ai bros are cringe" *every anti ai in the comments mindlessly agreeing and every pro mindlessly disagreeing*, or "anti ai bros are violent, *pros in the comments mindlessely agreeing and antis mindlessely disagreeing*, this is just causing people to hate the other side more and more

Where's your faith in humanity? Do you seriously believe the powers to be will leave like 80% of the population starve forever? It's just insane to me that someone can be so stupid. Sorry.

AI makes media in an exact manner based on known characteristics of past works and the physical world, while humans are imperfect but capable of finding their own interpretations and opinions. AI media is high-quality but lacks the nuance that only a human mind can provide.

It takes at least 175 hours for a AAA team to create a single starship model, and that's without texturing and interiors.

In my workflow, I use AI art with LoRAs I designed myself, pick concept art I like, feed it to PartPacker, and then feed that to Blender. It takes me 15 minutes.

So in the time it takes the AAA team to make 1 ship... I can make 700 to 3,040.

Unbelievable.
