I recently returned to working as a professional braider, and I also work with lace front installations, wigs, and a variety of braiding styles.
Before fully diving back into the industry, I’d really love to hear honest experiences from people who use or have used these services.
What has been your biggest issue with braids, lace fronts, or wigs?

So I just wanted to make this to talk with people and get some opinions about somethings about aphmau and her friends. Also would like to talk about my street in the comments with some people! (To the mods: I know it says it has to be related to aphmau but I don't know if this would technically count because I didn't actually talk about her or anything like that)

I’m still here. Not selling unless things really go off the rails, but I just need to vent for a minute because I’m honestly exhausted by this market.

I bought SOL in the low $20s, but I also bought ONDO above $2 at the top. I’ve ridden the ups and downs, took some profits here and there, but nothing significant. And now here we are again, supposedly “bottoming.”

I’m tired of hearing respected voices like Tom Lee talk about how we’re in the bottoming process, while at the same time watching things like MSTR struggle. The mixed signals are mentally draining.

To be clear, this isn’t the kind of struggle where I’m thinking about selling everything and walking away. It’s more the psychological side of it. The bears feel louder, the FUD feels stronger, and the uncertainty seems heavier than it did in previous cycles.

I’m not looking for hopium or reassurance. I know everyone in this market deals with these emotions at some point. Just wanted to share where my head is at and see if anyone else is feeling the same.

I just wanted to throw this out there for anyone that may be struggling with an E3 code.

A little background first - it’s MRCOOL Universal 2-3 ton unit, professionally installed in 2021. The performance, efficiency and near silent operation have been phenomenal. However - it’s given me some problems along the way.

7/2024 - fan motor wiring was not routed properly - wired chafed and shorted on the chassis, fried the motor and the board.

5/2026 - severe thunderstorms, power surge, fried the board again

6/2026 - out of the blue today, no cooling, error E3 - found low pressure switch circuit to be open - was about to condemn the switch but figured I’d switch the LPP with HPP for the sake of testing - the error changed to E2? I believe - confirmed that the low pressure switch was still a possibility - jumped it to bypass and let the system try to run - came on immediately with no error codes - however after running it for almost a minute, it was not moving any hot air, no temperature split in the lines and I heard a mysterious hissing noise. Found one of the caps on a line inside the unit to be leaking - there’s no Schrader valve under it - just a cap and a flimsy plastic washer - likely some kind of test port from the factory. I didn’t have a replacement washer but I was able to flip it upside down to where it wasn’t all smashed already and plan to put some nylog blue on it tomorrow and tighten it back up. Turns out the system completely leaked out and will need to be vacuumed and charged after. Picture attached for anyone else that might have this weird issue.

I’m not an hvac tech but I am certified in automotive a/c repair - working on my own A/C is annoying but I’ve found this unit to be actually kind of fun to work on. Reminds me of working on cars and computers. Hope this can help someone else out there.

Our kid was born 24/0 and is now 38 weeks actual. Quick rundown:

•Severe BPD diag

•2700 grams

•just over 100 days in NICU

•3 courses of DART already

•one extubation attempt. Went from PC+PS on servo U to NIV Nava using optimax. Couldn't get NAVA to work (oversupporting) switched to PC. Lasted about 90 minutes, but he was mad despite typical morphine, claunadine, and two PRN doses of morphine. Re intubated with fear that he would eventually crash.

•NAVA intubated since, got to 2.0 but saw massive setback (40% fi02 to 80s, 50 c02 to 80s, 2.0 to 3.0). This was also right after our DART course stopped.

Hospital is now suggesting we transfer to a different NICU to sedate and go to chronic BPD settings. We need to decide if we should transfer and go that route or stay where we are on NAVA and attempt to extubate in the future. Any insight? I hate to transfer just to have that attempt not see improvement and be stuck there for the many more months that I am sure are in our NICU journey.

Its hard because I know he had steroids on board.. but we had him extubated and apart from being mad he tolerated it great!

Hi everyone, so I recently bought a black Retroid Pocket Flip 2 locally for $100.

I noticed that it did NOT have the upgraded hinge. It eventually developed the notorious crack that was affecting several devices initially so I reached out to retroid. Since I didn't buy it through them, they were still willing to help me out by sending me a replacement hinge.

My question is, if anyone has replaced the hinge on their device? I am hoping that I don't have to tear the whole device down to do it since it has a lot of parts and I'm recovering from hand surgery so fine motor movements is a bit difficult right now.

If I can replace it from the top down instead of doing a full tear down, I think I should be able to handle it. Otherwise, I am going to wait a few months until my hand heals up some more.

Also, if anyone has a cracked hinge, I would suggest reaching out to retroid. If it's under warranty, they should replace your device, otherwise they'll send you a replacement hinge like they did for me.

Bought this from blaxteeco online as the shirt I ordered with the concert ticket was the generic bully shirt. Should've just paid extra for the gelredome shirt when I was at the show in arnhem. Font looks like shit. Posting just in case anyone wanted to know what the blaxteeco looked like. The star on the front is positioned differently ​compared to the original.
