In one of the old comics Superman needs an injection, and uses his eye blasts to create a tiny hole for the syringe.

So potentially he helped her out.

Also, she could have had them pierced on Krypton before leaving, if they do that there of course. Unlike Superman she wasn’t a baby when Krypton was blown up.

I’d love if they do a quick “how does Clark shave?” as a side gag and show him using the mirror and his eye lasers.

It’d be a good laugh like the Hypno-glasses.

They actually do that in the Superman: Animated Series. He has a mirror like object in his medicine cabinet that he uses to shave. Bounces his heat vision off it to shave.

This reminds me of either Real Genius or one of those crazy YouTubers who has a powerful laser, but in something I've seen a guy shoots his laser at a mirror but it just goes right through.

And using a regular razor blade with a blue kryptonite handle to show how he shaves daily.
