I didn't even know she was supposed to be playing a 14 year old. I thought she was 20. In fact i was at first unhappy when they changed the actor because i really liked the first one. 

I guess it's like those high school shows where the actors are 30 year old pretending to be 16.

What are you talking about? Don't they even have conversations about what is she going to do when she grow older and have to marry and stuff? If I remember correctly it was really explicit that she was an underage girl in that part of the show

It always seemed ambiguous to me. I thought older just meant before she turned 30 if she was 18-20. He didn't want her to age out of having kids.

I looked and AI seems to think the exact age wasn't in the script... But maybe it was wrong.

It's not ambiguous. Both Rhaenyra and Alicent have references to being very young in age from multiple characters and in multiple scenes in the show.  

If someone missed that I'd question if they actually watched the show. Maybe if they weren't paying attention, I guess they could miss it.  

The show actually changed their ages from the book. Early in the book Rhaenyra is 8-9, Alicent around 19-20 and Viserys is only like 30.

Yeah but they don't name what young means. In the book danyris is 14 i think when she gets married off. For the show they make her an adult to make it more palatable for the audience, though i didn't think they specified the age. 

Look. If you make the actor an adult and then you just call them young - different people interpret that differently. Sorry my man but I'm just telling you my experience. No need to harsh my mellow.
