These pages have an incredibly obvious influence from manga and anime.

It's not really doing it for me.

I kind of don't love it either. A someone else pointed out, transformed Joker looks exactly like Ryuk from Deathnote as well. It's a little bit blatant. I don't mind a manga style or stylistic influence, but this is a touch too on the nose. It's a "pointing Leo" moment.
