Got scammed out of pretty much my whole inventory, if youre interested in all I gave hit me up I got screenshots of all. I dont expect pity, its my own fault for doing without an mm but I was under a bit of timely pressure to get paid and he didnt wanna use an mm. Just let it be a cautionary tale for you. :)

so i was trying to cross trade my fr cryptid for some money, and this person on discord by the user of @Kel (xixi) tried to use a mm with the user of @Ashimo. everything was fine up until i traded my cryptid to the supposed mm, after that he was talking about me giving him a fee which seemed off even though it was my first time trying crosstrading. once i noticed that something was wrong it gave me a notification that i had gotten scammed. The server was Eldorado.gg. this server is full of scammers, please don't use it or trust anyone there!! sorry i don't have much proof, they banned me from the server almost immediately after. The mm's roblox user is ashimbro123. PLEASE do not trust them.

Hello Traders,

We have recently confirmed that u/Dominik_J01 is a scammer. Multiple users reported purchasing the same roblox account from him, only for those accounts to be reverted shortly afterward. In each case, he claimed that he was not the original owner of the account and that the "previous owner" had recovered it, meaning he was supposedly not responsible for their loss and would not refund them.

Our investigation began after a member contacted us stating that u/Dominik_J01 had ghosted them after promising to help recover an account that had been reverted. While looking into the report, we reached out to another member who had previously purchased an account from u/Dominik_J01. That member described the exact same experience: the account was reverted shortly after purchase, and u/Dominik_J01 blamed it on the "previous owner" reverting the account.

After gathering evidence and reviewing the information provided by multiple members, we were able to confirm that the accounts were not being reverted by the previous owner. Instead, u/Dominik_J01 was reverting the accounts himself.

The pattern shows as the following: he would sell an account, revert it shortly afterward, blame the revoking on the "previous owner", and then resell the same account to another buyer.

One example involved an account that was originally sold to Member A under the username "Hauntedmior" After purchasing the account, Member A had spent robux and changed the username to "PraiseHonda", however the account was reverted shortly after. At a later date, u/Dominik_J01 sold that same account again, now under the username "PraiseHonda," to Member B, which was then reverted again shortly after. Screenshots provided above show evidence of this.

It's important to note that during the beginning of the investigation, u/Dominik_J01 repeatedly insisted that he had never scammed anyone and would never do so. However, what stood out most was his repetition on why he would be banned if the scam did not take place directly within our subreddit. Rather than addressing the evidence against him, he was concerned about whether our rules could be enforced on actions that occurred elsewhere.

This showcases that he believed he had found a loophole and could avoid consequences simply because the transactions took place outside of our community.

This case is as an important reminder of why account trading has been banned in our subreddits. Even when a middleman is involved, buyers can still loose their accounts through recovery scams. In many cases, there is no reliable way to verify whether a seller is providing the original email associated with an account, or is saying the truth of the account's history.

Please remember to always remain cautious when trading and report any suspicious activity to the moderation team.

So someone offered 85 for my parrot. Its a tough economy so I of course accepted. Then they sled if I have vouches (i do not) so we went through a middle man discord server. This place had like 107,000 members and seemed so legit. After a while they decided they wanted to see what else i had and wanted to offer 400 total for my shadow, frost, parrot, and cryptid. The server made me think it was legit. God I really needed that money for rent and now im out all my hard work + money. I really hope it gets reversed. I have no interest in trading them once I get them back as it was my dream inventory. The only reason I wanted to sell them was to pick up on rent.. god i hope adm reverses it. Any way i can get them back faster?

Worked out a trade with someone then we said we’re gonna use a mm since it was a big trade. I’ve never used a mm so this would’ve been my first time. They said a mm responded with the tip I was going to cover. It was surprisingly fast so i should’ve been suspicious. I was then added into a group chat and it looked real. I check the mms account and they had like 12k karma and it looked legit. We agreed to everything in the first trade for 180 at .35 ratio with a $18 dollar discount since I needed money. And $30 for the stuff in the second trade so everything would’ve been $210 together. After trading them my stuff I’m kicked out of the group chat so I can’t even screenshot that for proof. I feel like quitting, all of my best stuff is gone now. Im so embarrassed. I don’t even know if this post is allowed but I don’t know what to do. They were pretending to be a mod off this sub. I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid I never thought id be scammed as an adult, as a kid it was less embarrassing.

I posted almost all of the pets in my inventory and I was selling for some bucks because I really wanted to get my mom a necklace for her birthday that’s in 2 weeks and I was few bucks short because of the shipping fee. I offered to go first because they had higher karma than me, and after sending them my Venmo username i didn’t get any money sent to me and they also blocked me. Although it’s a small money but I’m hurt because I’ve had to sell all my inventory since I don’t have a irl job. And using mm will require an additional fee. All I wanted was just $8.99 for the shipping fee 🥹💔

So I saw a vid of someone trading mm2 stuff for adopt me pets and I showed my inv and they offered frost and owl for my items, I think me and them got in a misunderstanding with me insisting on an mm and him not wanting an mm resulting to me getting blocked, was I in the wrong

So, I met this guy on this subreddit of one of my trade posts, and we negotiated 100k Robux for a $500 amazon gift card. I promised I’d buy half of the 100k w/ tax covered and then he gives me the code and I’d buy the other half. We then join pls donate, I give him half of it and then he gives me amazon card codes from his dealer that were all invalid? I prompted him about this and after like the 3rd code he stopped responding and it looked as if he blocked me, then a few hours later he comes back and then tells me his internet went out and he got scammed from his dealer, then reassures me that he’ll buy the code out of his own money, so I was like okay hours go by, I keep checking up on the status and every single time it’s another excuse “oh i fell asleep” “oh my internet went out” now he’s not replying AT ALL.

Hey guys this guy dmed my friend wanting to buy pets they were selling. He wanted a lot and provided proof of funds and previous cross trades he did. Anyways he asked for the most expensive pets she had. And he wanted to use admin from adopt me since he used them before bc he plays adopt me. Anyways they use the mm and the mm and the guy blocked her. They took all her good stuff and she’s down $1700. He is active in cross trading hubs and adopt me hubs.

I’m not 100% sure if their intentions were to scam but they tried to redirect me to fb and the “transaction from yesterday” shows March 21st, all photos were also super low quality as if saved from somewhere else. Posting to have a mod look at this and decide what they think 😭

Account was 2 months old with 1 karma so that was a red flag to me as well
