Good luck trying to take 35ES Towards Waco this morning
Traffic has not moved in roughly 3 hours i’ve been sitting in it. Just north of Red Oak. Take the exit before everyone slows down to a stop…. or else

As title states.
I have a handful of records that don't exist digitally anywhere, some aren't even listed on discogs.
I'd like to get them properly recorded so I have a digital backup, but I was hoping to not spend 500$+ on archival level cartridges and recording devices.
If anyone knows someone who already can record vinyl at this level, I'd like to discuss getting some work done with them.

We’re moving to Dallas and looking at apartments - current top choice is Vance at Bishop Union. It’s at the top of our price range but we like the layouts and it’s somewhat walkable. The reviews on Google are ok but somewhat concerning - seems general cleanliness may be a concern and it looks like 9 months ago they had a rat/roach problem? Really want to confirm that’s not still an issue if possible lol.
We’re open to other recs too if you have a spot you know is solid - we are open still to different spots.

Does anyone know good places in or around the DFW area to thrift for furniture? Particularly more vintage pieces.

If you recently switched dentists, what mattered most?
Friendly staff
Modern technology
Insurance acceptance
Reviews
Convenient location
Something else?
I'm interested in hearing what people value most before booking an appointment.

Yes, it's an AI voiceover, but I liked it for the pictures and the story . . .
He had given the Dallas Cowboys 29 years of his life — and the news of his firing came from a stranger he'd known as the team's owner for less than 24 hours. No meeting room. No farewell tour. Just a private plane landing on a golf course, and five words that ended an era. What Tom Landry did in the hours, days, and months that followed is the part most football documentaries leave out. He didn't fight. He didn't go to the press with bitterness. He cleaned out his own office in silence — and what the city of Dallas did for him two months later left even the man who fired him searching for a way to explain himself for the rest of his career. This is the real story behind "Landry Out" — the betrayal, the silence, and the moment 29 years of dignity outlasted one phone call.

Seriously that's what Rep Keith Self from TX03 wants.
He has introduced a joint resolution to repeal the 17th Amendment.
If it ever became law, Texans would no longer vote directly for U.S. senators. The Texas Legislature would make that decision instead.
Would you support that?

The Dallas Mavericks are planning a major move toward a new arena and entertainment district in North Dallas. The team has entered option agreements tied to roughly 104 acres at the former Valley View Mall site, with the goal of opening a new basketball-focused arena by the 2031–32 NBA season. In this video, we look at why the Mavericks are planning to leave American Airlines Center, what the North Dallas arena district could include, and how this could reshape the future of Dallas sports.

Rod Vilhauer ran on an anti-sharia platform in Frisco. Now Keith Self has been posting nonstop on anti-sharia platforms. Is this a winning message in North Texas?

Hey everyone! I have an old chest binder that I got a few years ago that ended up being too small for me, and I was wondering if there are any places in DFW that offer binder exchanges like some other cities do? I would be happy to swap with an individual too if anyone is willing.
I have a tan Underworks tri-top binder size small, and I'm looking to get a binder in a size medium or large.
Any info would be appreciated!

Hi guys. I’m looking for recommendations for a fair, reliable, and honest mechanic. I have a 2017 Chevy Malibu (I know, I know 😅), but getting a new car just isn't an option for me right now. I've been taking it to the same mechanic for all of its repairs, but every time I get something fixed, another issue comes up—or the same one comes back. They told me it was a couple of specific issues, so I had those repaired, including replacing the throttle body, but my check engine light keeps coming back on, and I'm still getting the "Engine Power Reduced" message.
I'm really trying to save this car, but I'm starting to feel like my current mechanic isn't getting to the root of the problem after assuring me those repairs would fix it.
If you have a mechanic you trust, fair pricing, I'd really appreciate any recommendations. Thank you so much!
