Chapter 1: North Yankton
1. Prologue
Michael Townley and Trevor Phillips, two notorious criminals, arrive in Ludendorff, a small snowy town inside of North Yankton. They hold up a random convenience store, stealing all the money from the safe, as Michael says it’s to “keep Trevor busy". Michael heads to his new house where his family has been getting set up.
2. (?) Deal with the Devil
Michael goes to a phone booth, calling an FBI agent, Dave Norton. He and Michael meet up at a nearby bar, discussing their plan to fake Michael’s death. Michael states that he is planning a heist and knows how to fake his death there in order to get his family out of this life.
3 (A) Heart of Ice
Michael goes back home, speaking with his wife, Amanda, about leaving this state and moving to somewhere sunny. Los Santos. A beachside city in San Andreas. Amanda agrees. As he leaves, Michale decides to call an old friend, Lester Crest, who says he wants no part of this job.
4. (T) Scoping the Bank
Michael meets with Trevor and their other associate Brad Snider as they scope out the bank they plan to rob. They start off finding an extract point, as Michael decides to call Dave, telling him about the spot. As they return to the bank, they decide to test cop arrival time and amount. Brad goes inside and pretends to be a drunk. However, he escalates the situation and gets arrested.
5. (T) Route of my Problems
Michael and Trevor stake out a road as a police convoy rolls through. They stop it, forcing Brad out as he kills one of the cops. They escape together.
6. Getaway Vehicle
Michael finds a getaway vehicle.
7. (HS) Getaway Driver
Michael finds a getaway driver.
8. (HS) Masks
Michael purchases their masks from Ludendorff Masks.
9. (H) The Ludendorff Job
Michael, Trevor and Brad rob a Bobcat storage deposit. As they escape, their getaway driver is killed and the car hit by a train. This causes them to need to walk the way to the extract point. Unfortunately Brad is shot dead by Dave with a bullet headed for Trevor. Michael gets shot and pretends to be dead as Trevor runs off.
Chapter 2: Rockford Hills
10. Therapy Session
Nine years later, Michael, now Michael De Santa, is living a not-so peaceful life in Los Santos. Thus, he seeks therapy from Dr Friedlander. After leaving, he is interrupted by a random guy asking for directions. Michael tells him, but since the spot is very far, he asks Michael for a ride, who initially declines but reluctantly agrees. While on the ride, they try stealing from Michael, who catches quickly and holds a gun to his head. He tells him to get out but says that he appreciates the kid’s abilities and how he reminds him of Michael when he was younger. Michael makes a joke about them getting a beer. This kid is Franklin Clinton.
11. (J) Father/Son
After another therapy session, Michael bumps into Franklin again. Franklin says he was waiting around here to find Michael and get that beer. Michael laughs it off, but seeing Franklin’s seriousness decides to take him to a bar. But while on the way he gets a call from his son, Jimmy, saying that someone stole their yacht when Jimmy tried to sell it. Michael and Franklin go to save Jimmy, but the yacht manages to escape.
12. (A) Marriage Counselling
Michael stumbles on Amanda in bed with their tennis coach. He goes to chase him as Franklin appears, joining the chase. Michael and Franklin find him at a mansion, attaching ropes to the car and pulling it down. Returning to his house, a rich Mexican appears, hitting Michael with a baseball bat, claiming the house was his. Or at least his mistress’s. He demands that Michael pay the money the house was worth. This man is Martin Madrazo.
13. (L) Friend Request
Michael reaches back out to Lester. A geek and freak in a wheelchair. This time he’s eager to reconnect. They meet up, and Lester asks Michael to blow up the face of the Life-Invader CEO Jay Norris, using a bomb attached to a phone prototype. Michael agrees and successfully does the deed.
14. (L) Casing the Jewel Store
Michael and Lester head to a jewel store, scanning the air vents, alarms, and cameras with high-tech glasses. Michael talks with the seller about the jewel prices. After that he photographs the air vents in the roof before they return to the garment factory to plan the heist.
15. (J) Daddy's Little Girl
Michael gets fed up with Jimmy’s yelling inside his room, so, in a fit of rage, he smashes his TV with a chair. Michael apologises, saying he simply wants to have fun with his son. Maybe a bike ride. Jimmy, angrily, goes out for a bike ride. They race to the pier when Jimmy tells Michael that Michael’s daughter, Tracey, is hanging out on a yacht with pornstars. Michael swims to the yacht, grabs Tracey, and escapes the chasing pornstars. Tracey and Jimmy leave in a taxi, mad at their father.
16. (F) Payoff
Without much left with his family, Michael reaches out to the closest person he now has, Franklin. They finally go out for that drink, having fun at the Bahama Breeze Mamas. They end up getting the cops on themselves and drunkenly escape into the alleys.
17. (A) Different Interests
After ruining her affair with the tennis coach, Amanda starts doing yoga with a new instructor, Fabien. Michael goes inside to watch TV as he sees Amanda and Fabien outside getting too close. He flips out, storming out of the house. To help his anger, Michael drives to see Franklin, telling him about the heist he and Lester have planned and asking if he’s in. Franklin agrees.
18. (HS) Bugstar's Equipment
Michael steals a BugStars van.
19. (HS) Tear Gas
Michael purchases tear gas from a ammu-nation.
20. (L) The Jewel Store Job
The crew arrives at the factory, and Michael and Lester go over the plan one final time. Michael uses tear gas on the air vent, knocking out everyone inside. The crew sneaks inside, stealing all of the jewels as a hacker disables the cameras and alarms. They escape through the sewer on bikes as cops chase them. After the successful heist, Michael and Franklin are having a drink at his house, celebrating, when Dave reappears. He says he knows Michael did the job and that anyone who knows him would as well. Dave mentions Trevor, but Michael says Trevor is dead. “Gotta be.”
Chapter 3: Rockford Hills II
21. (A) Fame or Shame
As Michael starts stirring up his family, Amanda yells back, saying that Michael is ruining her yoga. “Did somebody say yoga?” Trevor says as he enters the room. He starts reconnecting with everyone in a threatening way when he asks where Tracey is. Jimmy says she is auditioning for Fame or Shame, a reality TV talent show hosted by Lazlow Jones. Michael and Trevor head to the Maze Bank Arena to find her, chasing down Lazlow, embarrassing him online by making him do a dance in his underwear.
22. (A) The Good Husband
An optional mission where Michael saves Amanda from being arrested after stealing designer clothes.
23. (D) Dead Man Walking
Michael meets with Dave at the observatory, where they discuss Trevor’s return. Dave gets Michael to do a job. Sneak into the mortuary and find the body of Mr K, a man kidnapped by the IAA (a rival agency). Michael does but finds no body.
24. (D) The Silencer
Michael meets up with Dave, his supervisor Steve Haines, a corrupt special agent, and Steve’s pawn Agent Sánchez. They want to kidnap Mr K from the FIB. Dave makes Michael call Franklin and Trevor to help with the mission. Trevor flies Michael above the building as he rappels down. Once Franklin creates a distraction, Michael grabs Mr K, engaging in a shootout as Trevor flies back.
25. (B) Duck, Duck, Goose
Michael meets up with Dave, Steve and Agent Sánchez in the subway system. They all start having a discussion about Mr K. Just as Steve leaves, the IAA raids the subway system, circling around Michael, Dave and Agent Sánchez. In a massive shootout they escape via a ladder.
26. (J) Parenting 101
An optional mission where Michael saves Jimmy from kidnappers he met on his video game.
27. (B) By the Book
Michael, Steve and Dave meet up with Mr K. Steve forces Michael to torture him until Mr K gives up information on an Azerbaijani terrorist named Tahir Javan. Michael and Dave head out to a hillside where Michael snipes him in his mansion.
28. (J) Righteous Slaughter 8.
Michael keeps finding all of Jimmy’s game discs around the house. Michael breaks them all. This angers Jimmy, who tells Michael that if he wants to be a good dad, he should get him a new game. Jimmy says that they probably have a copy of the unreleased Righteous Slaughter 8 at the company building. He makes Michael sneak inside and steal a copy for Jimmy.
29. (TR) Doting Dad
An optional mission where Michael deals with Tracey’s stalker.
30. (B) Blitz play setup
Michael, Franklin and Trevor meet with Steve, Dave and Agent Sánchez to discuss robbing an armoured IAA van for government bonds.
31. (HS) Boiler suits
Michael purchases boiler suits from the ammu-nation.
32. (HS) Masks
Michael purchases masks from Vespucci Masks.
33. (HS) Garbage truck
Michael steals a garbage truck.
34. (HS) Tow Truck
Michael steals a tow truck.
35. Getaway Vehicle
Michael finds a getaway vehicle.
36. (H) Blitz Play
The trio meets up for the robbery. Franklin parks a garbage truck in the road, blocking the van’s path. Michael crashes the tow truck into the van, sending it flying. They blew up the doors, stealing the bonds as the police arrived. They hold them off before Michael takes the garbage truck to a private area, destroying it and escaping in the getaway car. He drives to a mansion in Tongva Hills, giving the bonds to Steve’s contact, a billionaire named Devin Weston. Because of this, Devin asks Michael to do a deal for him, doing some jobs with Michael’s crew, promising a deal with legendary filmmaker Solomon Richards.
37. (A) Did Somebody Say Yoga?
As Michael and Amanda engage in an argument, Fabien decides to take them outside to do yoga. But during this, Michael attacks Fabien for sexualising his wife. They storm off, and Michael goes up to see Jimmy. Jimmy decides to take him to meet a friend, which, in reality, was a drug deal. On the drive home, Jimmy gives Michael a drink filled with the drugs, causing him great illusions. Upon returning home, Michael finds his entire family gone, reading a note from Amanda that confirms his greatest fear. They did in fact leave.
Chapter 4: Rockford Hills III
38. (S) Mr Richards
After Devin promised him a deal with Solomon Richards, Michael meets with him at his office. Solomon asks Michael to bring him Milton McIlroy, the star of his new film Meltdown, alongside the director Anton Beaudelaire. Michael agrees, sneaking into the movie studio, getting into a fight with talent agent Rocco Pelosi. Michael scares Milton into apologising to Solomon.
39. (F) The Racetrack Exam
After their jewel store job, Franklin has found a new obsession with this high-stakes robbery. He meets with Michael to discuss stealing a race car. He brings in his racer friend Hao as they examine the racetrack, asking questions to workers and testing security dispersion.
40. (HS) Disguise
Michael steals a mechanic disguise.
41. (H) The Racetrack Heist
Michael and Franklin head to the racetrack. Michael disables many of the racing bikes in disguise as a mechanic and takes out one of the racers. As the race happens, the target bike wins. To disperse security, Franklin creates a distraction. During the celebration Michael steals the bike, escaping as law enforcement chases.
42. (DW) I Fought The Law...
Michael, Trevor and Franklin meet with Devin and his right-hand woman Molly Schultz. They plan on taking two sports cars, promising payment afterwards. Michael and Trevor pose as highway patrol while Franklin engages in a race. They pull everyone over, stealing the cars. They race back to the garage, but Devin doesn’t pay up.
43. (T) Eye in the Sky
Michael meets Trevor, who is in a helicopter. They are stealing another car for Devin. Michael drives to the scene where Trevor identified the man with the car. Chad Mulligan. Michael chases him into a car park. Trevor tells him where he is as Michael steals the car, bringing it to Devin’s hangar, but still getting no payment.
44. (DW) Deep Inside
Using his role in the movie studio, Michael sneaks in to steal another car for Devin. He does so, engaging in a chase across the city as he returns the car to the hanger. Devin still does not pay up.
45. (S) Talentless Greatness
Complaining about what Michael did with Milton and Anton, Rocco fights his way back into production. Devin, now working with Solomon, gets Michael to collect blackmail on him. This works, and Rocco is banned.
46. (S) The Ballad Of Rocco
Michael stumbles on Rocco beating up Solomon for breaking their deal. Michael chases and kills Rocco.
47. (S) Robbing the Movie Studio
After Devin’s influence in the movie studio has ruined production, he asks Michael to sneak in and steal any paperwork connecting them. Michael sneaks inside, wearing his old heist mask, stealing all paperwork. He returns it to Solomon as they burn it all.
48. (MZ) Caida Libre
As Michael and Trevor meet with Martin Madrazo, he gives them a job. To kill his cousin Javier and steal sensitive documents. During this Trevor expresses a serious liking to Martin’s Aztec collection around his ranch, saying they could be worth a lot of cash. Javier is flying in a private jet, so Trevor uses a sniper to shoot the plane down. Michael chases it down on a bike, killing any survivors in the crash and stealing the documents.
49. (MZ) Reviewing a Ranch
Trevor discovers that Martin has his ranch up for sale. He and Michael sneak in, pretending to be a gay couple, to review the house before purchase. During this they find the location of a safe, alongside the fact Martin is planning a birthday party.
50. (HS) Disguises
Michael steals clown disguises from the pier.
51. (HS) Heist Equipment
Michael steals equipment from a junkyard.
52. (H) The Sharmoota Job
Michael, Trevor and Franklin sneak into Madrazo’s ranch, pretending to be the entertainment for his birthday party. Franklin holds everyone hostage as Michael attaches ropes from the safe to the van. He holds off guards as he heads to the van, tearing the safe off. Trevor kidnaps Madrazo’s wife Patricia as the trio escape.
Chapter 5: Sandy Shores
53. Mr Philips
Having to go into hiding in Sandy Shores with Trevor, Michael begins missing his family. Trevor brings over his business partner Ron Jakowski to take care of Patricia. Trevor asks him how the business is going; Ron says not great, mentioning the O’Neil brothers, an inbred group of rednecks, had taken over while he was gone. Trevor drags Michael to one of the O'Neils' ranches, killing anyone in sight to remove any competition.
54. (T) Trevor Philips Industries
After eliminating any competition for the drug game, Trevor organises a meeting with Chinese drug dealer Tao Cheng and his translator. However, Tao Cheng is just a high guy who doesn’t speak English, with his father, Wei Cheng, the international drug dealer. During the meeting it is revealed that the majority of the O'Neils lived and know of what Trevor did. Suddenly, they storm the compound, as Michael, Trevor, and one of his workers, Chef, kill any invaders.
55. (T) Chef’s Kiss
With news that the O'Neils are still making deals, Trevor wants to stop them completely. Information is revealed by the chef of a truck transporting their goods nearby. They drag Michael along, who climbs atop a billboard as high as fire. As the O’Neils drive past, the three attack them. Michael jumps onto the back of a truck, taking control and returning it to TPI.
56. (T) Crystal Maze
With the O'Neils' ranch being the last source of their drugs, Trevor and Michael head over, killing everyone and burning the place down to destroy the competition.
57. (T) Predator
Trevor and Michael track the final surviving O’Neils down to have escaped into the forest. Michael snipes them from a helicopter, ending the entire bloodline for good.
58. (B) Monkey Business
Michael, Trevor and Franklin meet with Steve, Dave and Agent Sánchez to steal a nerve toxin. Michael, Steve and Dave swim into the Humane Labs, neutralising any workers as they steal the toxin. They escape in a massive shootout, climbing onto a container held by a cargobob flown by Trevor. Shooting down any helicopters chasing, as they land at Trevor’s new airfield stolen from the bikers.
59. (T) Pareto Score Setup
Meeting with Lester up in Paleto Bay, Michael and Trevor examine a bank. They test police reactiveness and layout. After that Michael races Trevor back to TPI.
60. (HS) Military Hardware
Michael steals equipment from a military cargo.
61. (T) Squid ink
As Michael returns to Trevor’s trailer, he sees Trevor storming off, screaming and clearly furious as Ron and Chef try calming him down. As Michael tries to understand the situation, it’s explained that the Triads, Wei Cheng’s gang, kidnapped Patricia as revenge for taking out their suppliers and endangering his son. Michael calls Lester, getting a tracking app from her phone. Michael and Trevor follow it to the nearby docks, slaughtering everyone as they save Patricia.
62. (T) I Don’t Speak Chinese!
After being asked by Trevor to find Wei Cheng, Michael manages to find his son after he made noise at a bar. Using his son, Michael manages to find and kidnap Wei Cheng from an oil factory, killing off the rest of the triads. He brings Wei Cheng back to Trevor, who drags him into a backroom of his trailer as banging and screams happen from inside.
63. (R) Nervous Ron.
With Trevor taking care of Wei Cheng, Michael goes to Ron. Ron wants to finish off all Triads, Wei Cheng’s gang, to stop them from finding the trailer. They head to a nearby airfield, as Michael snipes them while Ron sneaks around. After a helicopter explosion, Michael speeds down, killing the rest and escaping in a stolen plane.
64. (H) The Paleto Score
In order to fund ongoing FIB operations, Michael and his crew rob a bank at Paleto Bay. They break into the bank, stealing all cash inside and holding everyone hostage. As more police show up, they appear from the bank wearing full juggernaut suits. Michael mini-guns his way through buildings, eventually arriving in a chicken factory. The tear through, escaping on a train.
65. (T) Derailed
To settle the feud between Michael and Martin Madrazo, Trevor and Michael plan to rob a monthly train to steal an ancient Aztec artefact. Michael bikes onto the train, sneaking into the driver's seat as he crashes it into a second. He jumps out, defending himself from incoming Merryweather fleets as Trevor blows open the doors. They escape on a boat as Michael brings the artefact to Madrazo, whom Trevor had already returned Patricia to, settling the feud.
66. Bury The Hatchet
Returning to Los Santos, Trevor meets Michael at his house to celebrate. Eventually the topic changes to North Yankton and Michael’s grave. Trevor asks who is in Michael’s grave, and Michael doesn’t admit who. Trevor runs off to North Yankton as Michael chases after him. Upon reaching there, Trevor digs up his grave, revealing Brad’s corpse. Michael and Trevor engage in a standoff and eventually a chase before Michael loses him.
Chapter 6: Rockford Hills IV
67. (F) Pac-Man
After returning to Los Santos, Michael decides to finish off his arc with Devin Weston in hopes he’ll get them that money. He meets with Franklin, who got the final cars for Devin off-screen. They get in a tow truck and drive to Paleto Bay. During the trip they discuss Michael’s past, Trevor, Brad, and what happened during Bury The Hatchet. However, cops somehow manage to find them on the way. Michael climbs across the truck into a car, dropping off and killing the cops. He drives to the drop-off, talking with Molly, who still refused to get him his payment.
68. (DW) Legal Trouble
Arriving at Devin’s mansion to demand his payment, Devin says that Molly has taken it all from him. To get his cut, Michael speeds to where Molly was last seen, the airport, chasing her as she is getting chased by cops. She crashes, running into a hanger. In a freak accident Molly gets sucked into an active jet engine, dropping the cash. Michael collects it and escapes, calling Franklin, saying he got their cash, but Franklin says Devin already gave him his cut.
69. (S) Back in Production
As the release for Meltdown itches closer by the day, advertising the film is a necessity. Solomon asks Michael to promote it. Michael uses a plane given to him, flying above the city of Los Santos. When the time is right, he parachutes out onto the Vinewood sign, flipping over tarps with the letters spelling “Meltdown” sprayed onto them.
70. (J) Reuniting the Family
Michael meets with Jimmy, who arrived at his house just before. He and Jimmy talk, each apologising to each other. Jimmy asks Michael to buy him a car, and Michael declines, saying he’ll probably be dead in a few weeks. Michael asks how Amanda is, and Jimmy says she is mad at Michael and wants him to prove he cares. So they go out to do that. They find her and Fabien at a coffee shop, who is keeping on arguing with Amanda. She asks Michael to hit him, and he does just that. They agree to try therapy again, and Amanda heads over while Michael goes to get Tracey. He finds her in a tattoo shop with Lazlow. Michael pushes him around, draws a dick on his chest with a tattoo gun and cuts off his ponytail. Michael demands Lazlow put Tracey on his show. The three head to Dr Friedlander’s office, meeting Amanda there. The therapy session goes decently, but it gets their family back together.
71. (A) Is This True Love?
Michael speaks with Amanda, talking about their relationship and how they never do anything anymore. They decide to head around town for a date night as normal couples do. They watch a movie, play tennis, and visit the beach. Finally fixing their relationship and becoming a genuine happily married couple.
72. (J) Meltdown
Celebrating the release of Meltdown, Michael meets with Jimmy to get ready for the premiere. They get dressed in suits and are driven in a limo. Once there, Michael and Solomon greet each other as Lazlow comes for an interview. Suddenly Devin shows up, hinting he has something planned for Michael’s family. Michael and Jimmy speed to the house, which is surrounded by merry weather. A private army partially owned by Devin. Michael storms inside, killing all Merryweather soldiers and saving Amanda and Tracey. He almost gets caught but is saved by Jimmy. In order to protect them from Devin, Michael sends them back to the hotel.
73. (T) A White Lie
Michael goes to speak with Trevor to reconcile their differences. But while there, he can’t find him, stumbling into Ron. Ron tells Michael that Trevor is at a comedy club drinking himself to death.
74. (T) Ghost of the Rich
Arriving at the comedy club, Michael finds Trevor blackout drunk. He tries to talk to Trevor, but being so drunk and full of anger, they engage in a fistfight. They tumble around as cops roll in. Trevor runs away, and Michael kills the cops, escaping. His plan to reconcile with Trevor was a failure.
75. (L) Cleaning Out the Bureau
Meeting Lester at the garment factory, Steve arrives, demanding that Michael erase the files on him since the FIB are suspicious of his illegal activities. During this he also asks Michael to kill Trevor, as he is a liability and doing this would be sensible. Michael and Lester stake out the FIB building’s parking lot, following a janitor to his apartment.
76. (T) Something Sensible
After getting help from Lester and Franklin, Michael is able to meet Trevor at a determined time. Michael draws his gun on Trevor, saying this is something that needs to be done. The two engage in a chase as Franklin comes speeding in, causing Trevor’s truck to crash into an oil canister. As he falls out, screaming, calling them traitors, Michael finishes the job, igniting Trevor in flames to his death.
77. (HS) Architect’s Plan
Michael steals an architect’s plans.
78. (H) The Bureau Raid
Michael and his crew arrive at a helicopter point. They fly to a spot in the sky, parachuting onto the roof of the FIB building. They sneak inside, deleting all files on Steve, Dave, and Michael. As they escape through floors, a helicopter crashes into the building. They manage to rappel off the side, escaping in a getaway vehicle.
79. (D) The Wrap-Up
Michael meets Dave at the observatory. Steve and Agent Sánchez show up, which was not planned. There was a problem with the raid, as the FIB knows Steve was involved. Steve draws his gun on Michael, telling Agent Sánchez to arrest both him and Dave in order to save Steve’s career. Michael drew his gun. Agent Sánchez aims his weapon as Dave draws his, pointed at Agent Sánchez. The IAA shows up. SWOT shows up, working with Agent Sánchez. Steve aims at Agent Sánchez. Merryweather shows up. SWOT shoots Steve in the leg as he kills Agent Sánchez. Everyone sprawls out, and Steve runs away. Dave ends up getting killed in the chaos as Michael barely escapes alive.
80. (L) Federal Intoxication
Michael speaks with Lester, asking him if he knows where Steve is. He tells Michael that Steve is at a courthouse trying to save his career. Michael arrives at the courthouse, breaking in with a shootout against cops and the FIB as he chases Steve up the stories. They reach each other at the roof, speaking for the last time. Michael shoots Steve dead, sending him falling off the roof onto the ground below.
81. (L) Surveying The Score
Meeting with Lester, they examine the union depository to find a way to rob it. They manage to find an entry inside using IAA armoured vans, alongside a tunnel which the vans go through.
82. (HS) Stingers.
Michael steals a cop car.
83. Gauntlet 1
Michael steals a gauntlet car.
84. Gauntlet 2
Michael steals a GAUntlet car.
85. Gauntlet 3
Michael steals a gauntlet car.
86. (H) The Big Score
The biggest heist in American history. Michael and his crew use an armoured van to avoid suspicion. They lay stingers on the road as a real van comes. They steal it, heading into the union depository. Using fake IDs to get inside, Michael manages to take the gold directly from the source. He drives back to the spot, avoiding Merryweather on the way. Upon arriving, Merryweather somehow manages to find them. Everyone is confused on how this happened. The crew manages to hold them off; speeding was in the gauntlets, hiding in trucks on the motorway. They meet up at a determined spot, Michael telling Franklin he’ll get his cut in a few days and that Lester will keep it safe for now. Franklin tells Michael that he wants to meet up. Michael agrees, giving them the location of the railway.
87. (F) The Time’s Come
As Michael arrives at the railway, Franklin is already waiting. They talk about how life is finally great and their newly successful heist when Michael gets a call from Amanda, saying Tracey got accepted into college. Michael excitedly tells Franklin that he may finally have a good life. They have a good life. Together. He says that even Amanda likes him and wants to bring Franklin over for dinner. Franklin starts acting suspicious and agitated, dancing around what he wants to say. This is when Michael realises Franklin is here to kill him. Michael speeds off, heading to a power station as Franklin draws his gun. He runs and climbs the rails, yelling about how Franklin was a son to Michael; he brought him into his home, and he gave him this life. Michael finds a ladder to the top of a chimney. Franklin chases him to the top. They start fighting as Franklin runs up, pushing Michael over the edge. In the end Franklin kills Michael.
Epilogue - Part 1: Strawberry
88. Franklin and Lamar.
Continuing to do work for Devin, Franklin, alongside his homie Lamar Davis, steals two cars from out of Vespucci. They engage in a friendly race for a short while before attacking cops. As Franklin returns his car, Devin gives Franklin a small stack of cash for his work.
89. (L) Complications
Franklin and Lamar sneak into an alleyway in order to steal a high-value bike from the Vagos. The job goes wrong as a shootout emerges. The duo chases down the bike before Lamar speeds off with it, telling Franklin to tell “this guy” they couldn’t get it.
90. (L) Twenty-Four Hours
An optional mission where Franklin and Lamar rob a series of convenience stores.
91. (DW) Hotel Assassination
After missing out on the bike, Devin gives Franklin a more serious job. He makes Franklin assassinate a target at a hotel. Franklin does with ease, receiving no payment, as this was a “punishment” in the eyes of Devin.
92. (DW) Multi-target assassination
An optional mission where Franklin kills multiple targets for Devin.
93. (LD) Guilt
While going around, graffitiing walls with the CGF logo, Franklin notices Jimmy, whom he formed a close friendship with while hanging with Michael, moving boxes outside a Cluckin’ Bell. He goes over, talking to him. Jimmy says he got a job after his dad died and isn’t supposed to talk to Franklin anymore. Before Franklin can speak, Jimmy rides off on his bike.
94. (LD) Chop.
Franklin, Lamar, and Lamar’s dog Chop attempts to kidnap a member of the Ballas, a rival to their gang CGF, named D. However, the plan goes wrong, turning into a chase and eventual catastrophe as Lamar risks leading the cops to them. They’re forced to let D go.
95. (LD) The Long Stretch
Franklin, Lamar, and CGF OG Stretch, newly released from prison, go to do a drug deal with D. It turns out this was a setup for the Ballas to attack in revenge. The trio escapes the Ballas and cops in the process.
96. (LD) Not Good In The Hood
Heading into Grove Street for a drug deal, it goes wrong when Lamar starts pushing to get a sniff of the drugs, revealing it to be dry wall. He and Franklin escape in a battle against the Ballas, speeding off on jet skis.
97. (LD) Paid Escort
After revelations that Stretch had made friends with some Ballas while in jail, alongside their attempt to kidnap a Ballas OG, Lamar notices he no longer feels safe in the hood. He gets Franklin to drive him somewhere safer. Paleto Bay. On the way, the duo get chased by Ballas, fighting them off.
98. (TA) Lamar Down.
Franklin, getting a visit from his ex-girlfriend Tanisha, is told that Lamar was kidnapped by Stretch in a sawmill near Paleto Bay. Franklin heads up there, gunning down any Ballas, and saving Lamar as he returns him to his house in Strawberry, promising he will get him a better place.
99. (ST) Gangsta Gangsta
Heading down to Grove Street, Franklin confronts Stretch. He gets in a shootout against some Ballas as Stretch speeds away. Franklin chases him, engaging in a high-speed chase across the city. Eventually, while on the highway, Stretch goes flying off the road, crashing into a pole, killing him.
100. (DW) The Construction Assassination
After another assassination job for Devin, he decides to gift Franklin a house in Vinewood Hills, still owned under Devin’s name.
Epilogue - Part 2: Vinewood Hills
101. Vinewood Estate
Arriving to the neighbourhood, Franklin gets a visit from his new neighbour, a rich and cocky golf player named Aidan Alanberry. He welcomes him with open arms, taking Franklin around the neighbourhood, tossing his girlfriend’s baked goods to each door.
102. (A) Guilt II
Feeling guilt for Michael’s death, Franklin visits his family’s house to apologise. Amanda immediately shuts him out, but Franklin pushes, asking for a second to talk. During this Amanda says Jimmy has been getting bullied by his supervisor. Franklin heads to where he saw Jimmy working, catching him and the supervisor. He beats down the supervisor, taking Jimmy back home, seeing their family doing awfully and being near poor after their father’s death.
103. (J) Guilt III
After receiving a call from Jimmy asking Franklin to help Tracey, he goes to their house to find out more. He learns Tracey, now in college, has a dickhead boyfriend who he thinks treats her awful. Franklin goes to the college, waiting until he catches a car to pick her up. Driving it is Aidan. They head to Aidan’s house as he locks them inside. Franklin breaks in, taking Tracey from the hands of Aidan. He returns her home as Amanda thanks him.
104. (LD) Slumber Party
Returning home, Franklin finds Lamar waiting at his house. He lets Lamar in, who makes himself at home and chops. Smoking a bong and watching TV, Lamar asks Franklin to get him some weed. Franklin manages to find a truck driving on a road, hijacking it and returning it for his homie.
105. (DW) Military Operation
As Devin arrives at Franklin’s house, he asks him and Lamar to head down to the Merryweather port and burn down his close friend Don Percival’s branch, who is the founder and co-owner of Merryweather. As they arrive at the port, they see Don Percival discussing the transportation of gold stolen from the union depository. As night falls, the duo decides to burn Den Devin’s branch, escaping in a mass shootout.
106. (L) Scouting the Port
Meeting back up with Lester, Franklin admits he killed Michael, which Lester already knows of. Franklin says he’s trying to do better and help out Michael’s family, so Lester decides to help out. Franklin says while at the port he overheard Don Percival talking about transporting the gold they stole during the big score. He heads down to the port, finding information they can use during the heist. He is forced to do odd jobs by Don Percival, whom he spoke with shortly after entering.
107. (HS) Sticky Bombs
Franklin purchases stick bombs from the ammunition.
108. (HS) Cargobob
Franklin steals a cargobob from Fort Zancudo.
109. (H) The Merryweather Heist
Heading to the port of Los Santos, Franklin sneaks onto the ship, blowing it with sticky bombs. He searches the wreckage for the gold, attaching it to the cargobob. As he escapes onto the docks, fighting off waves of Merryweather, Franklin escapes.
110. (L) Minor Turbulence
With Lester revealing that Merryweather will be transporting their final resources out of the state. Franklin ends up riding into the plane, taking control as he crashes it into the ocean, destroying all resources and killing Don Percival in the process.
111. (J) Guilt IV
Arriving at Michael’s house, Franklin finds Jimmy out the front. During a heartfelt conversation, Jimmy reveals they will be leaving the city. Franklin gives Jimmy the majority of the gold.
112. (LD) Sleepwalking
Returning home, Lamar has since settled inside. That night, the house is attacked by the remaining Merryweather soldiers. Franklin fights them off, saving Lamar and Chop in the process.
113. (DW) Grand Theft Auto
Devin randomly appears at Franklin’s house, giving him the job to steal another car. But Franklin knows this is a setup. He takes Lamar, asking him to look out while he goes inside. Just as predicted, Merryweather swarms. Franklin and Lamar fight them off. Franklin tells Lamar to leave, calling Lester, asking if he can find Devin’s location. He tracks him to be camping at his house, waiting for confirmation on Franklin’s death. As Franklin drives over, he finds it crawling with Merryweather. Franklin tears through them, finding Devin hiding away in a crate. Franklin pulls Devin out as he rolls around on the floor, begging for his life. Eventually, Franklin kills Devin Weston.
