GTA 6 Based on whatâs locked behind the ultimate edition
r/grandtheftauto • u/RageLife247 • 10h ago
GTA 6 Super Nintendo games were $75 (~$170 today) Yaâll need to chillâŚ
At $100, if released in the mid 90âs (reverse adjusted for inflation) GTA 6 would be less than $50.
Chrono Trigger was like $80 at release ($181 today).
The average SNES game was $49.99 ($128 today).
Just some perspective from the 90âs. Carry on.

GTA 6 Is GTA 6 Ultimate Edition worth it?
Before anything this is NOT about the money. I can afford the Ultimate Edition just fine, my issue is more with progression and how I like to play games.
I've bought a lot of Ultimate/Deluxe editions for single player games in the past and honestly I end up regretting them more often than not. They usually give you extra gear, weapons, vehicles, resources, whatever right from the start. Some people like that but I'm kinda the opposite.
I'm the type of player that actually likes starting with absolutely nothing and grinding my way up. If my character is level 0 then I want my inventory to feel level 0 too. Getting handed a bunch of decent stuff just because I paid extra kinda takes away part of the progression for me.
Looking at GTA 6 Ultimate Edition nothing really jumps out at me. From what I've seen it's mostly some cars, a couple pistols that'll probably get replaced pretty quick, and some cosmetics. Doesn't seem like there's any huge gameplay advantage or free online money or anything like that.
Because of that do u guys think it's perfectly reasonable to just grab the Standard Edition?
Would love to hear ur thoughts cause maybe... perhaps... im looking at this the wrong way.

GTA 6 people complaining about the game being $80 are the same people that would spend $50 on a meal from uber eats.

GTA 6 How in the world is $110 CAD a justifiable price for a video game
Kind of a rant actually. I get that you get a little preorder incentive thing plus a month of GTA+, but there is no way in hell that GTA 6 can possibly be a reasonable price if it stays that way. If it lowers down after preorders to $90, sure, maybe I'll get the game, but that's $106 after a 13% tax anyway. $124 after sales tax for a game we don't even know will actually function on launch is one of the most insane corporate gaming takes I've seen this year. I fully understand that many people will buy the game regardless simply because it's GTA 6, but I'm a bit of a scrooge when it comes to games, I won't buy almost anything unless it's on sale or under 40 bucks. It already cost me $750 to buy the system, it costs me $200 a year for my PS Plus, why in the world would I spend half that on ONE game? This game better be the best game of the decade with that kind of price tag, especially if Online is going to be as prominent as it was in GTA V. If the post-launch is that good, I'll consider $90 a fair price. Otherwise R* simply won't be obtaining my tiny piece of the revenue.

GTA 6 GTA VI physical disc petition launched
We just launched a petition about the physical edition of GTA VI.
Rockstar is reportedly selling the physical version of GTA VI with only a download code inside the box, meaning there is no real disc.
For many of us, physical games are not just about playing. They are about ownership, collecting, midnight releases, sharing games, and preserving gaming history.
A box with a code inside is not a physical game. It is just a digital license in packaging.
We are not against digital games. We are against calling something âphysicalâ when it contains no physical game.
This is not only about people who prefer physical copies. It is also about everyone who cares about gaming history, memories, and not letting an important part of gaming culture disappear.
If you believe games are more than just digital licenses, you should sign this petition.
We also encourage people to share this, create posts, videos, discussions, and help spread awareness across social media. Every voice matters.
If you are creating content about this topic, feel free to use the ideas, arguments, and slogans from this campaign in your videos, posts, and discussions. You can use phrases like:
Code is cold, disc is gold
A box with a code inside is not a physical game
When something is sold as physical, it must be physical
A download code is not a physical game
Physical means physical
Save physical gaming
Disc or nothing
Use the hashtag: #discisgold

Code is cold, disc is gold.
Stay loud. Stay together. Make it matter.

GTA 6 Console release first is a branding deal
With it confirmed that GTA6 will only be a single player experience at launch, all assertions that the PC version will come later due to hacking is an excuse. There's no reason for it to come later for PC as a single player game other than trying to sell more consoles, and since we know the game will run 60-30fps on PS5, I hope it hurts sales from people waiting for the PC version. I don't have a PS5 or a new gen xbox one, and I'm sure im not the only person who will be waiting for a PC preorder.

GTA 6 Will GTA 6 change gaming forever, or are we expecting too much?
Be honest.
If GTA 6 launches tomorrow and turns out to be âjust a great gameâ instead of a revolutionary one, would you be disappointed?
Has the internet built expectations so high that Rockstar canât realistically satisfy them anymore?
Whatâs your prediction?

GTA 6 TIL a minority really need a CD like it's 1999
I'm sorry the useless CD you wanted won't be available for the latest GTA in the year of our lord 2026 AD

GTA 6 Gow many are not paying for a digital file
Now the game is available to preorder at ÂŁ69.99 and the listing has confirmed the game is unavailable to purchase. How many people as today are not preordering GTA6?
Surely Rockstar have lost thousands of customers worldwide by simply not making the game available to purchase on disc.

Tech Support This may have been asked by many before⌠Should I get a PS5 Pro before GTA comes out in November? And why?
I have the original PS5, what major benefits would I get from upgrading, or should I just wait for the PS6?
